  • Liked it, lots of red herrings but boils down to several of the good old fashioned motives.

    9.5

Unorthodox episode but it worked: jealousy, sex, adultery and murder, with some red herrings thrown in (forgive the seafood reference). I also liked the personal but understated touch of Brennan knowing Carly. One of the strengths of the series is always personal involvement but within limits (see the overdone Sully storyline).

Took Hodgins a while but thanks to Booth, he figured Angela out. By giving her freedom, it was proof how much he loved her. Guess we're going to a wedding! Loved Hodgins plan for the honeymoon, very romantic – Hodgins has a very creative romantic side, he never goes with the obvious and that's how he won Angela's heart. Seriously, who would think to take their first date to a children's playground? He's one of a kind.

I liked the story and the Angela/Hodgins stuff was lovely. Nicely done.
  • Another very solid episode, which will definitely lead to a good season finale.

Another very solid episode, which will definitely lead to a good season finale.

When Hodgins thought that it is better not to ask Angela to marry him since she was always refusing, Angela tells him that she will marry him and marry him very quickly inside the month. And not only that she wants a big wedding. And with Hodgins chequebook one is guaranteed a huge wedding.

Bones and Booth are always becoming closer and closer. They care a lot for each other and make really good partners. I really would like to see them as a couple. It will definitely be one of the best couples on TV.
  • To marry or not to marry?!?

I love this episode, it has everything, the final acceptance of Hodgens marraige proposal, the end scene with 'be my love' is so sweet!!! makes me cry everytime. Brennan re-affirms all the reason she hates marriage, but she goes on about it so much it, like theres going to be a turn around? kind of the feeling of the more you go on about how much you hate something it turns out you really love it? who knows! I love cam in this episode too, she basically keeps cathing Jack and Angela 'jumping' each other, but she shows the nice side to her authority held position! like she is finally becoming one of them and becoming their friend. Brennan and booth at the end with the mac and cheese is so cute aswell!! The way they look deep into each other eyes is so fasinating!! Science and story dead on as usual, the mystery will keep you guessing until the end.
  • WOW.....Glowing Bones!

In this episode of Bones, the following happens. When a body is found glowing (possibly from radiation), Booth and Bones are called in to investigate. But when the room/building is checked, they find no radiation there. Back at the lab, they manage to ID the victim, as a celebrity Chief. We also learn that Bones knew the victim, as she had been to her restaurant a couple of times. When they go to see her husband, they learn that her friend is also missing. They then find the car of the missing girl Abby, and they find her in the boot of the car, alive but barely. She comes round in the hospital, and so Booth and Bones go to question her. We learn that they were attacked in the car, but she can't remember anything else, until she woke up in the boot of the car. DNA tested from inside of the car, matches that of Abby's boyfriend, Ben. Soon when they look over her medical records, they find out that Abby's story isn't as it seems. Soon it becomes obvious that Abby killed Carly, after learning that she was having an affair with Abby's boyfriend, Ben. When Hodgins makes a sign for Angela, which says "Be my love" she accepts his proposal (even though it isn't one). He starts to suggest places to get married and she says it has to be next week. We end with Bones making Booth a meal in her apartment.

in this ep of bones bones and booth are called to a scene becasue a body was found glowing. and they thought it was radiation. and they must investgate to figuor out what happen and they do work they realize it was a huge chif that was murderd. and they first look to the husband and they realize he did not do it. and then they looked to a old friend of hers. and then they cleared him and then it lead back to her best friends husband but then they realized that she was killed by a saramic knife that broke apart from the stabbing and her bones were only glowing from a bacteria from fish. and then they realized it was her from a affair with her friends husband. this was a good ep
  • The glowing bones and Mac n Cheese

    9.7

This was such a cool episode! I loved how the bones were glowing and that seemed to be the most interesting thing because no one knew why they were glowing! I loved that the seafood was what had made her remains glow because it was just so cool and not something you would expect!

Hodgins and Angela were great and I really loved them together it was great to see them working together even after Angela turned him down. I loved seeing them all cute together while everyone else was teasing Hodgins about how Angela said no. I really wanted to smack Zack for that!

I loved seeing Brennan and Ange together too. It was great to see Angela telling Brennan that she was that little voice in her head telling her to say no to Jack. It was so cute to see them talking about marriage together and Angela kind of looking for advise as to what she should do. I loved that Angela brought up Sully and then apologized for it later. It was nice though to see the best friends talking and even better to find out about Brennan's true feelings about relationships and how she doesn't want to get hurt. It was so cute and so sad.

It was great seeing that Tempe actually knew the victim because you could actually tell that she had feelings about what was happening. It was made even better by the fact that Tempe was actually going to see Carly again too.

The Mac 'N Cheese thing at the end with Booth and Bones was so incredibly adorable! I loved that entire scene. I also loved Hodgins at the end using the seafood glow to tell Angela he loved her it was so cute for her to ask him to marry her then too! This was a really amazing episode I loved it!
  • It all comes down to mac and cheese...

Well, well I think it was a pretty good ep. The case

was interesting and when I thought the friend´s boyfriend

had done it, it surprised me at the end. Too bad envy and

    jealousy was behind it all.

About the characters well, finally, Angela accepted. I fell

in love w/Hodgins when, talking to Booth about Angela, he

realizes that he has to accept her the way she is, I mean

that´s what love is all about. Someone has to give in sometimes and make sacrifices (unlike other show about

an Asian woman who went crazy when she didnt get married).

Zack is adorable. I laughed when he was forced to play the victim with Hodgins again and Brennan telling Booth

"Zack is always the victim". It seemed like a normal conversation among colleagues.

So now B&B. It´s amazing how as time goes by whatever they

say to the other becomes very important. Brennan knew that

she had made Booth uncomfortable and cared. Booth took it seriously. Booth´s face when Brennan mentioned she had

taken Sully to Carly´s was priceless. Angela is so right:

Brennan is missing so much is her life because of her fear.

So it comes down to mac & cheese. Why? Because she remembered what Angela said. And she remembered what Booth

said about family dinners. And she´s willing to take the

    advice.

Wooowww!!!

  • A little for everyone, a lot for B/B fans.

There's a lot of character development in this episode, it all kicks off with Booth and Bone's trademark arguing/banter, this time about love.

The glowing bones are somewhat surreal but make for an interesting story line, there's almost more character building than story in this episode.

Hodgins picks a novel way to show his love for Angela which ends up going in the totally opposite direction, although a pleasant surprise.

As for Booth and Bones, it ends with a lovely scene where Bones has just cooked for booth, mac 'n' cheese. She tries to play it down as no trouble at all, but you can see her sly looks and her wanting Booth's approval of her cooking, overall an awesome episode!

So I am not sure about the glowing teeth and bones thing. I get the idea that a small amount of bacteria has entered the blood stream and all, but the small amount of blood that moves through the bones and especially the teeth and the fact that the majority of those are calcified inorganic material…it was a cool visual, but not sure about the science behind it. So I am glad that Angela finally found what she needed to say yes – that is so sweet. I loved the little moment at the end where Bones cooks for Booth – so sweet.

Doing a list of things that I liked. Most of them involed Hodgins this week, even though when the series first started, I wasn't really a fan of his.

*Cam walking in on Hodgins and Angela making out and the entire following scene.

*Cam remembering that Hodgins was buried in the car and Hodgins responce to that. Good continuity to my favorite episode so far. Probably the episode that really made me like him.

*Zack always being the murder victim and the entire scene, especially Hodgins dragging Zack while Zack complained it was unnessacery and Bones explaining to Booth that Zack is always the murder victim. Classic.

*Angela proposing to Hodgins in reverse. Can't wait for the wedding.

*Bones "He shot a clown once."

*Booth and Bones having dinner together at Bones' home.

*Bones and Booth at the crime scene. "So how long have you two been dating?"

Now can we please have some character development with Zack? Give the poor actor something to do besides spout big words and be comic relief. Seriously, delve into his home life, have him get kidnapped, just do something with him!
  • Pretty cool episode of Bones.

This episode was a very good episode of Bones, lots of character development and a great plot.

One 'bone' (if you will forgive the pun), I used to work in the nuclear power industry as a Health Physics Technician (effectively people who measure, sample, test contamination and radiation levels, and control time and exposure levels for workers). The radiation story elements were somewhat off (actually pretty off).

Other than that, the subplots were great and there was lots of character development for the major and minor characters in the series.

The story was pretty good (given the caveat of the radiation stuff mentioned earlier).

The show is consistently good to great, I will keep watching for a while.

I really like the mix of a little comedy in the character interplay, and like the cast as well.

    Keep it coming.
  • Again a great show!

Show is just keeps getting better and better as both

Bones and Booth investigate at a haunted house aka Scooby

Doo the bones are glowing in the dark but these bones

Aren't radioactive as they are lacking for clues as the team

Tries to find what is making the bones glow in the

Dark. Meanwhile, Cam is funny trying to five Bones a rough

    Time on her personal life.
  • A great little episode which had something for everyone.

We had our death, a body, our mystery and the finger pointing at the likely culprit which as a regular viewer of Bones you’ll know is too obvious, as the story flowed the finger is pointed at another then another culprit until finally Bones, Booth and the rest of the squints got it correct, and to be honest I wasn’t surprised it was the best friend ( Abby I think her name was ) and in fact said to a friend I bet she’s the killer as she was dragged out of the car boot, anyway it was a nice little episode not for the mystery/death but for Hodgin’s and Angela’s continue romance

After Hodgin’s who has been turned down twice by Miss Montenegro decides to take Angela for who she is and as long as their together he’s now resigned to the idea of marriage and after an in-depth chat with a confused Booth he tell’s Angela he no longer wants to get married because all’s he wants is to be with her, however Miss Montenegro about turns and say’s “yes” she will become Mrs Hodgins.

Sorry maybe I’m an old romantic at heart but I enjoyed this weeks episode for the Hodgins and Angela story rather than the murder/mystery it’s self which seemed very rushed.
  • The mystery this week was below average and the character development parts were not all that revealing. There were some good laughs but the whole thing just seemed like set-up for the season finale.

So, Angela and Hodgins are finally going to get married. That was a nice bit but the whole "I want to make sure marriage doesn't restrict my ability to be a free spirit" thing was very obvious and really didn't need all that screen time. Hearing other character's points of view was also not that illuminating -- we pretty much knew all of that before the episode. Overall, it seemed like a fairly dull and plodding set up for the big wedding next week.

As for the mystery, the story seemed fairly unoriginal. The only nice twist was the glowing bones bit but that was dispensed with so quickly and easily it didn't make for much intrigue. Also, the murderer was fairly obvious after the semen was identified. The drama just wasn't there this week.

Bones is never bad but this episode didn't have the magic of most of the others.
  • Hodgins and Angela agree to tie the knot, after receiving all kinds of advice from the rest of the squints. Booth and Bones work together to solve a case involving glowing bones, and along the way learn about how each feel about love and marriage.

    "Superb"
Overall, a good episode. Hodgins and Angela are entertaining in their romance, which provides some fun moments but doesn't really detract from the team's dynamic. Booth and Bones seem to be over their awkwardness from recent episodes and are back to yapping at each other while solving whatever case is before them. My hatred for Cam is lessening, as she is proving to be a good addition to the team now that the tension between her and Booth is downplayed. And at the end, when all is said and done, Bones cooks Booth some delicious macaroni and cheese. If THAT doesn't say they are in love, I don't know what does. I'm excited for the season finale.
  • Glowing bones and affairs of the heart...

Great episode! The case was very good, specially with the online participation (I checked it out). Couldn't tell it was Abby and the whole representation of the crime by Hodgins and Zach (the stooges) was funny. Cam comments made me laugh a lot and it was good to see her and Booth talking about the past, it shows they are not avoiding the subject. Another subject that was mentioned was the buried alive experience that mean they haven't forgotten it. Angela and Brennan girls talks was nice too, I like them a lot. The two scenes at the end were cute, Hogdins and Angela and Brennan cooking for Booth. Now we go to the season finale, can't wait!
  • Something for all tastes!

This episode is a good example as to what makes this a great show. It has a murdermystery with interesting twists and turns. I figured some of the stuff out before the team but enough was suprising to keep me satisfied. The involvement of the MySpace-pages was a fun sidenote and a great way to show the murdervictim without using flashbacks. The other part of the show, the relations of the team, was also great. We continue to see Brennans and Booths relationship evolve and Hodgins and Angela have a major breakthrough. Booths relationship with Cam gets some attention. All through the characteristic humor of this show shines and there are many quotable lines.

I strongly recommend this episode as a brilliant Bones episode.

I quite enjoyed this episode. The tension between Angela and Hodgins never changed with his proposal in the last episode. Of course he would be angry and distant the entire begining, I sort of wish Brennan or somebody would've said something to make him feel somewhat better. The whole moral of the episode was marriage, I mean they talked about it a T O N! Booth and Brennan, Brennan and Angela, Booth and Cam (what was with that? I was scared that they would somewhat get together)

Oh so to add to the list of what you need in life- Windex, duct tape and fabric softener. . . Booth was so amused by it. And his whole moment with Cam still gets me. I guess it was a good idea, they had to get over their relationship and that just proved it. And Brennan was so upset with the whole marriage thing. I mean, the car scene with B and B when she was talking about one thing and he questioned it she brougt up the marriage thing. I guess in the long run she is happy for them.

Another part of it was F I N A L L Y bringing up the whole Gravedigger thing and being buried in the car, and from both points of view, that made it a little more real.

I'm sorry, But I love Eric Milligan. And when they were sitting in the "car" and he was like "why do I always play the victim?" and even Brennan chuckled at that. And when she said the sex was consensual the look on their faces and said that they don't need that visual. And when Hodgins dragged Zack on the floor. "Is this all necessary?" it was great.

The end was exciting, sure Angela and Hodgins are getting married, we all knew that was comming, but Brennan making Booth dinner was a jackpot. And He was in love with the food, that made it all the better. Ok, now that that is out. I can't wait until next weeks Bones. Its going to be amazing, I'm so excited. Going to the Chapel, gonna get married! Yay!

This one kept me thinking. I loved the script and perspectives in this episodes. There were so many different avenues but it wasn't confusing. I was thrilled that I didn't know who did it, I didn't even have a guess. I loved the nickname "squints" I loved the one-liners in this episode were great as always. I loved the "reconstruction" of how Carley was killed. I was giggling the whole time. Yes Zack you will always be the murder victim. Yeah Angela & Hodges! Ok now we just have to figure out what's with Brennan & Booth. Maybe they need to take Hodges advise.
