Episode Recap

Broadsky, a professional sniper, is out to kill anyone he thinks doesn't deserve to live. So far he has eluded Booth and the FBI. Broadsky plants a cell phone on the grave of his dead girlfriend. Booth finds it and with Angela's help, he finds a way to use it to locate the cell phone tower Broadsky is using should he call the cell phone.

Meanwhile Brennan and Vincent Nigel-Murray are preparing to give a presentation: Human vs Tyrannosaurs Rex in an arm wrestling competition. Hodgins eagerly helps out.

Booth, Sweets, and a rookie FBI agent Shaw go to investigate one of Broadsky's contacts - a former spotter. They find him lying dead in a field. Sweets determines that Broadsky killed the spotter because the spotter refused to give him his sniper rifle.

Back at the lab, Brennan and Nigel-Murray examine the remains of the spotter. Booth is also present as well. Unknown to them, Broadsky has set himself up on a crane with the spotter's sniper rifle and is using a thermal imaging sensor to see into the lab. He then calls Booth on the cell phone.

Booth gives Vincent Nigel-Murray the phone to hold while he attempts to trace the call. Broadsky sees Vincent pick up the phone and mistakes him for Booth. He takes aim and fires. Nigel-Murray is hit in the chest. Booth and Brennan try to save him but there is nothing they can do. Nigel-Murray dies in front of them.

As the team mourns Nigel-Murray, Booth becomes determined to find Broadsky and stop him for good. That night, Brennan stays at Booth's apartment. Still shocked and horrified over Nigel Murray's death, she ends up crawling into bed with him. What happens afterward is not revealed.

The next day, Brennan, Hodgins, Cam, and Angela start to work on the body of the spotter. Clues extracted from the body allow Booth to track Broadsky down to a shipyard and learn about an injury he has. Booth finally tracks Broadsky down to a shipping port and the two proceed to hunt each other. Eventually, Booth corners Broadsky and shoots him in the leg. A helicopter then moves in and Broadsky is finally captured.

That night, the team gives Nigel-Murray's body a sendoff as he is being shipped to England for burial.
