  • Dave Thomas episode

    7.0
I knew this was a Dave Thomas episode before they even did the credits because he always writes Brennan way out of character and Bones is not mean but that's how she always comes off when Dave Thomas has anything to do with an episode.
  • Thanks God, "Bones" is back!

    9.5
I have almost given up hope - there were some nice moments, but - sorry, guys, last couple of seasons have been rather mediocre for "Bones" standards. This episode -not perfect, but so Bones-y- gave me hope and even an anticipation for another season (or a nice finale). Are the old screenwriters back?... :)
  • Best of Season 9 so far!!

    9.5
The pace and tension in "The Nail in the Coffin" were reminiscent of previous seasons' best episodes: the story was so complex and filled with twists and turns, with even better acting by the reminded me of the 'Grave Digger' episode where Angela foils the drone attack after everyone works feverishly to try and foil Pelant! But this one was more clever in the title (the nail is not a proverbial metal nail) and in the final resolution of the 'Ghost Killer', who is already killed off before the Jeffersonian team needs to intervene! One criticism is the gorey dissection of tissue by Cam, too graphic! Also need a resolution of the "promotion" of Booth: Booth's place is in the field with his partner Bones, as he dramatically demonstrated in this where on earth is Christine been this year???moreless

    • Angela: So you two are cool with each other?
Brennan: Oh. Dr. Edison's work has been excellent. And I imagine he is relieved to be working with me. As soon as Dr. Saroyan apologizes for excluding me...
      Cam: Which you ignored.
Brennan: And which I would ignore again.
      Angela: Oh, boy, I poked a hornet's nest, didn't I?
Clark: Am I the only professional here?
