  • Boring episode

Booth and Brennan solve a very uninteresting case while on their honeymoon.
  • Una verguenza

Soy Argentina.
  • Simple wrong. That was Havana and not Buenos Aires

Worst episode I ever seen. I'm always so amaze of the research aspect in this serie but this episode is just a joke. I've been in Buenos Aires countless times and it look nothing like that, that was like show Iowa and then say it New York. Argentina has 98% european descendants, Buenos Aires is really modern and has just a few spanish buildings (most of them from the colonian time and not in use), the police uniforms are blue unlike the light brown we all know from Mexico, also like our corrupt police, I'm pretty sure, theirs, are more into the last model SUV's some German label (is not Cuba) and more important when in the US is summer, in Argentina is winter and as you can read in Wikipedia, they have really cold winters.

I'm ashamed because I used to be a super fan of Bones and this are thing you can research only by using google, you don't even have to go to the place.

If you want to show an cliche for uneducated americans, why even bother to say is other country, there are Nazis everywhere.moreless
  • Christine vs Michael Vincent

Why does it always look like Christine is older and bigger than Michael Vincent??? That's weird!
  • that's NOT Buenos Aires!! shame on you!

The city showed is NOT Buenos Aires!

Buenos Aires is such a wonderful and exciting city that Bones wouldn't have to investigate a murder in order to have fun.

I've seen every single episode of Bones and I really enjoyed them but last episode was painfully disappointing as they were completely disrespectful with the characterization of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina and city were I was born, and its people.

The producers didn't research a single thing about it and just used 3 o 4 real Argentinian footages mixed with a majority from another countries which were not even similiar to Argentina. The only things they showed correctly were the neighbourwood of "Caminito - La Boca" and Puerto Madero and the monument called You can google them.

I'll tell you some of the things that were invented:

The music is not typical from Argentina. It sounded more like Central American music. Though the theme Bones listened while watching the bones "Gracias a la vida" is a masterpiece by an Argentinian musician called Mercedes Sosa. The only thing the did well. 1gnAtFSVI

Buenos Aires doesn't have beaches. Argentina has wonderful beaches but not in Buenos Aires city.

The nearest wildboar is miles away.

The policemen don't wear brown uniforms, they are blue and they work at offices not cafs

The cars are way more modern that the ones shown and the number plates are not like the ones you see.

The shot drink "cola del diablo" doesn't exist and people aren't even used to drink things like that. The national drink is wine.

The night scenes that showed people on the streets were so different from Buenos Aires streets that I can't even describe it.

Actors were not phisically similar to Argentinians.

    And some other things....

Buenos AIres is a very modern, cosmopolitan and big city. It's completely worth visiting the real one!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • The first image that you see of Buenos Aires - the beach and the sea - is not Buenos Aires. There are no beaches like that in the city.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Dr. Perez: Forgive me, but I find it difficult to imagine you as a mother.
Brennan: It's been the most wonderful experience I've ever had. Don't you want children, Dr. Perez?
Dr. Perez: I thought so, at one point. But I've seen so much cruelty and evil in this world that I couldn't bring a child into that.
Brennan: It's our job to make the world a better place for our children. Don't you believe that's possible?
Dr. Perez: I envy you your optimism, Dr. Brennan.

    • Dr. Perez: I retrieved these insects from the remains. The mass grave is 30 years old, but these insects suggest the time of death is within one month.
Brennan: We'll see if our entomologist concurs.
Dr. Perez: I send my most difficult samples to the university, but I am confident I am correct.
Brennan: I find it's best not to be overly confident.
Dr. Perez: I was not aware you knew any other way to be.

    • Brennan: This is Dr. Letitia Perez, the coroner here at the Buenos Aires Morgue. She will be assisting me in this investigation.
Angela: Hi, hi, it's nice to meet you. Help!
Dr. Perez: I am not assisting Dr. Brennan. She is consulting for me.
Angela: Mm, good luck with that.
