  • I love Bones but..

    5.0
Does anyone remember how Brennan used to be really strong and confident in tough situations? How about all the times she used her fighting skills in the past, kicking down bad guys or kept it cool in heated situations. This episode was not like her at all. I miss the old Brennan, the Angela that used clay and some small amount of technology, Caroline with balls and most of all the humor and awkwardness in the dialog.moreless
  • great show

    9.5
Bones is the best show in the world next to Bonanza. I just hate how long we have to wait for the next one.

Man I'm sorry, you come across as one very unhappy individual. It's TV, it's fiction - nothing is perfect, i can't name a TV drama out there that is 100% true to life. It's called entertainment and sometimes that means adding a little fluff here and there. Life's too short to take time picking apart episodes of a darn TV show like that. But having said that, you are totally entitled to yr opinion of course just as we are free to agree or disagree with it,

My review is 10 out of 10 because I thought it was fantastic to FINALLY have the intense angst ridden action and unique villains back like the show used to be in the first 3-4 seasons. Before it became more comedy and fluff than drama and action. LOVE DB as Director & the awesome actor, great job! Though it ticks me off when they will & always do a dang time jump for Season premiere epi - one because that format has been done to death on Bones and on NCIS, two because we never get to see Booth struggle through recovering from injuries sustained in finale (RITR, Wannabe In The Weeds and The End in The Beginning).moreless

Bones is a great show there's everything for everybody i give it 10 /10

  • Same old same old...

    3.0
Same ***ed Bones, doesn't know how to talk without slurring her speech and looking like a puppy with its head jerked sideways. Have you noticed that none of these people have a life outside of the Jeffersonian? They are all dating or married to their co-workers. Granted Booth is FBI, but still... Sweets wouldn't have a sex life if they didn't bring in an intern for him to hit every now and then. One retired Ranger versus three Delta Force?!? Okay, first of all, Delta Force are sent in to get hostages out alive. Sure they kill bad guys in the process, but they are known for bringing soldiers and civilians home. To kill him, they would have sent either mercenaries, or Navy SEALS. If the government really wanted Booth dead, they could have easily used a sniper since his curtains and blinds were wide open the whole time. Or, they could have put a bomb under his car. Or, they could have just taken Bones and threatened to kill her until he traded his life for hers. We all know what an idiot she is - its not like she would stop going to work or anything. If he knew they were coming for him, why didn't he 1: set up video surveillance so he would have proof that he was attacked, 2: Call in some favors from some of his other super Ranger buddies, or 3: Hide somewhere in the area and use his super incredible (unrealistic and unbelievable) Sniper skills to take them out. Oh and hmm, I though Delta guy number 3 was supposed to be left handed?!?! Well, he came from the side of the hallway you would expect a left handed shooter to come from, however he was holding his rifle right handed, and even drew his pistol right handed. Then Bones takes him out? I guess there wasn't enough broken glass and other debris lying around for her to step on as she was entering the house. I was really disappointed that this episode pretty much crapped on Delta Force, a non-existent team of hero's not located at JSOC on Fort Bragg, NC. You know, those non-existent Army dudes who answer to only the president of the United States, not to some Congressmen or Senators who want to cover up their indiscretions. Oh and last but not least, I thought this show was called "Bones", not "Booth". why is so much of the show centered around Booth? oh well look who is producing the show! I used to like Bones. Now I only watch it because my wife does, and she finds it amusing because she works in the medical field and I am ex-military and current Government Cyber-Security Specialist, and we sit there and tear the show to shreds. Oh, wait, one last thing. How did Angela come across all the futuristic equipment, holograms, physics emulators and other gizmos that I have only ever seen on the alien ship that abducts me every now and then?

Did I mention that the portrayal of Booth as an ex-Army Ranger reminds me of 8 year-old kids playing army in the school yard? Cliffhanger? Can this show get any stupider?moreless
