      • The Elves spokesmen, Slap, Sniffle, and Plop seem to be a parody of the infamous Rice Krispies mascots, Snap, Crackle, and Pop.

      ADD QUOTES
      • (Lucky and Bonkers are covered in chocolate) Lucky: Well, it's been an interesting afternoon. Bonkers: Yeah. Why can't every day be like this? Lucky: Toons...

      • Bonkers: (gets a couple of cans of whipped cream off the shelf) I'm gonna cream those guys!

      • Bonkers: Nobody douses my pal with condiments and gets away with it.

      • (Bonkers turns on the lights) Lucky: All right, you three. You're under arrest. You have the right to...(gets hit in the face with ketchup)...yuck! Turbo Dressed As Slap: Hey, did you hear that? We have the right to "Yuck."

      • Bonkers: I don't believe it! It's my heroes, Slap, Sniffle, and Plop! Lucky: three guys who float around in a bowl of cereal are your heroes? Bonkers: Yeah, them and the guy in the toilet.

      • Lucky Sorry about my behaviour on the phone, sir. It's just that I've been pestered all morning by ridiculous complaints. "No prize in my cereal." "No prize in my cereal." Do you know how stupid that...(he sees all the Wheat Crunchies boxes behind Chief Kanifky) Kanifky: What's ridiculous about that? Lucky: Oh...no, nothing, sir. Did I say ridiculous? I meant...uh...tragic.

      • (Lucky frees Bonkers from a cereal box) Bonkers: Just doing a little undercover work, Lucky. Lucky: A little under cover work? Very little.

      • Marylin: Daddy! Daddy! Something terrible has happened! Lucky: What is it, honey?! Marylin, are you sick?1 Did mommy wreck the car?! Is the house on fire?! Marylin: There's no prize in my Wheat Crunchies.

      • Lucky: You woke me out of a dream of being named Cop of the Year because you had no prize in your cereal?! Bonkers: Of course. You don't think I'd let my pal miss out on a big case, do ya?

      • (Bonkers goes and wakes Lucky) Lucky: What? What? Bonkers: Lucky! Rise and shine! Grab your socks and punch the clock! We've got a code purple, Lucky! Lucky: Code purple?! Bonkers: Let's go! Lucky: Um...refresh me, what is a code purple?

      • Toon Alarm Clock: Alarm, alarm, alarm. Bonkers: "Alarm, alarm, alarm?" What kind of wake-up is that? You're supposed to r-r-r-r-ring! Toon Alarm Clock: Yeah, okay. (it rings and jolts Bonkers out of bed) Bonkers: I gotta stop buying those cut-rate appliances at the Toon Swap Meet.

      • (Bonkers is dressed up like Sherlock Holmes) Bonkers: Me thinks something is rotten in cereal land.

      ADD ALLUSIONS
      • Network:

In the scene where the phony Slap, Sniffle, and Plop tell the kids to yell out their windows that they are mad about not getting their prizes in the cereal is a direct parody of the famous "Mad as Hell" speech mad by Howard Beale (Peter Finch) in the 1976 movie Network.

      • Sherlock Holmes:

In one scene, Bonkers dresses and talks like the famous fictional dectective from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes books.
