Of course...the beginnings of something hilarious, but pretty rough. A few shining moments...the "Macho Man" montage with the guys dancing around the apartment in shaving cream and towels.
Some "over acting" on the part of Amy and possibly even Henry. Kip was on target, as usual, and I'd like to have seen more of Ruth in the first episode. In fact, ther weren't any laughs when she said that she nearly lost her advertising career because of one word: "Ladies, please, don't EAT the Charmin"
Other than that, pretty good start to the series. This was the first and last time we'd see the "room mother" of the hotel, since they replaced her by Episode #2.
