This episode worked brilliantly, combining a great mix of humour and drama. Alan's case didn't enthrall me as it normally did, but it was enterating seeing him and Tara interact- there is a lot more chemistry then there was between him and Sally. Denny was hilarious as usual, I loved the scene between him and the judge, and how he got more time in the trial.

Lori's case was interesting as well- branching out of her normal speciality, but unable to cope with it was good, well crafted character development. The case was quite dramatic, but also through in elements of humour where appropriate- exactly why I love this show.

The best scene for me was at the end of the episode, when Alan and Denny were talking about Denny's deteriotation memory in the prison sell- I love the chemistry between William Shatner and James Spader, and I love the friendship these too have.

Overall, another brilliant episode to this Season- entertaining, dramatic and with some genunine laugh out loud moments.
