    I've watched Boston Legal since season one, and I must say this show is so boring lately and I can't stand to watch it more. I don't seem to remember the last case they lost.. No main story and the comedy is over done.. The worst moments of the show is the balcony talk, the most pointless garbage you would hear that isn't even unintentionally funny.

    Because it was a spin off of the practice, compared to this it was a master piece. I am sure many people watched it for the same reason.

    I've been watching David E. Kelley shows since Picket Fences. He has a very consistent writing style which I love. Kelley's scripts for Boston Legal are as good as they've ever been and the balcony talks is a new thing he did for this series. Sometimes they are redundant, but mostly they're a perfect epilogue for the episode. If you don't like those, I don't see how you enjoy any of Kelley's scripts.

    Kelly has proven that he can write anon-politically based script and make it good. That is why I watch, in the hopes that I will once again see one of those fantastic scripts that I have seen in the past. But when he takes away any and all balance, it ruins the show.

    I love his show... Boston Legal is perfect... i just hope he's not turn Boston Legal like Ally McBeal...

    I liked The Practice and 1st 3 seasons of Ally McBeal. More than any of the seasons of BL. Might drop this show next season. Might start watching Damages instead.

    Ive watched a few episodes here and there before actually getting the first 3 seasons and working my way steadily thru them i adore Alan Shore he is awesome but im on episode 2 of season 3 and they have brought in 2 new lawyers and they are doing my head i cant cope with either of them - i have loved and laughed at each episode but this one - what the heck is the writer director producer casting person bloody thinking and please tell me they go away as im on 20 mins in and i dont want to stop because i adore Alan

    This is the first show of DEK that I've watched... I've never seen the practice, but did you really expect a 12 year old to do so?

    Because, that's how old I was when it was on the air.
    I only came into Boston Legal last year--I've seen previous seasons--and it's my favorite show currently on the air.

    Don't like it?
    Don't watch it.
    Watch The Practice reruns.

    I got hooked on The Practice watching reruns on FX when I was about 14(19 now) then started watching Boston Legal b/c it was a spinoff then I started to like the mans work so I started watching Chicago Hope reruns on discovery health channel all great except this last season of Boston Legal...Lostrox it's your turn to tell when you first began to appreciate DEK

    I don't see how you find BL boring. I hated the practice except for the last season when Alan showed up. I think it speaks rather highly of Alan as a character that he appeared in the practice's last season and go his own spin off. The only thing I've found that isn't as interesting is the lack of shocking cases. The lack of any interspecies relationships or people who want to be frozen annoys me.

    Wow. I totally disagree. If you really feel that way, you are missing out on one of the best relationships in tv history. I was actually brought to tears in this episode's balcony scene. Sometimes we need to let our expectations go a little and just enjoy the story and really take in the dialogue. I believe it to be very difficult to create a bond so strong between two male characters but with the strong acting, writing, and directing in episodes like this, they've done it wonderfully. I always look forward to the balcony scene at the end of each episode and would feel cheated if there wasn't one.
