  • Shooting the homeless

Another great installment this season. The kidnapping case was both dramatic and humourous, which is credit to the writers. I loved the bit with priest and the cat running off with his fingers! It was also good to play Brad as the hero- good character development, and perhaps an attraction between him and Denise.

Denny shooting the homeless guy was funny- I loved the scene in the conference room, and Alan going against his friend. It was also touching to see him drop the case because he doesn't want to damage his friendship with Denny- quite remarkable. Denny going back on Larry King but surviving quite so well was also good character development, as this time he was in the wrong.

Overall, another fantastic installment from Crane, Poole and Schmit- the Season just gets better and better.

In this episode Brad and Denise have to take the law into their own hands to get back a kidnapped child. Denise feels that the police are not going fast enough so they petend to be FBI officals and manage to get the information that way. But all does not go as planned when Brad cuts off a priests fingers with an axe, he was intending only to scare the preist to reveal the information that they need. But the priest puts out his hand and Brad cuts off the fingers. Anyway after they blackmail the priest into finding where the child is they tell the police and Brad is treated like a hero. This was a great episode. The Denny and Alan story was also quite good. As always i can't wait for the next episode.

I have to say, this episode was alittle lacking in something. Denny was hilarious, as always, Alan was his usual caring self, with matters that should count with all, but Brad playing FBI?

That threw me for a loop. The way they worked in all angles of a child kidnapping was pretty good. When Brad cut the priests fingers off, I thought I was going to fall out of my chair. This show never fails to have me in stitches. Denny Crane. Denny Crane. I walk around the house for a whole day after watching this saying it. I have also told my husband thatI have mad cow disease. He is funny and Denny sleeping with Alan topped it off. Just another great episode for this wonderful show.

this episode was funny as hell. loved the chopping off of the fingers and everyone just standing there screaming. i thought the fbi agent that kept "not" giving them suggestions on how to "not" find the boy was great. i hope they don't let garrett and denise have a tryst. i still haven't warmed up to garrett yet, even less so for sara. i think he's a huge douche bag. maybe someday i'll like him, but not today. julie bowen's little squint and head move to the side drives me crazy. she is absolutely stunning. i almost forgot about denny and alan sleeping together. how good was that, denny tying himself to alan. then denny shooting that hobo right square between the eyes with that paint gun and then shooting alan by accident which reminded you of the time he shot up the office. great episode.
  • Only this show could turn a missing child case into slapstick.

I get the feeling there were some cuts in this episode regarding this man being a refugee from New Orleans. It still flowed well with the case against Denny and I greatly enjoyed the scene of Denny with Gracie Jane, especially Edwin's horrified reaction to it all. And the last scene of Denny and Alan talking about Katrina and the poverty line did make you think. As Alan says "37 million people. Wonder what would happen if they all decided to rise up?"

Then we have the other part with Brad and Denise on the case of the child which at first seemed thrilling but then got into a truly bizarre sequence with the priest. Once again, Kelly goes a bit overboard with Brad cutting the man's fingers off (although the cat running off with one was funny to see).

The actual investigation was interesting as it's nice to see Brad get some major face time again. He really seemed to enjoy playing the "bad cop" here and it'll be nice to see him dealing with the aftereffects next week.

So overall not too bad an ep although it did get a bit much at times but managed to pull it together in a good way.
