After two fairly average episodes, this was a return to form for Boston Legal. The episode was both funny and dramatic.

It was nice to see Brad have a good case to sink his teeth into (the It-Girl was very pretty, on a side note!), and also refreshing to show him as not quite being the blustering fool that the rest of the staff seem to treat him as. Brad's determination to find out the truth was well acted, and the case itself was fairly interesting, as well as combined with some good humour- especially at the "lesbian" calling at the beginning. I am also loving Alan's new assistant- she was very funny! "Don't you have an interesting face!"- loving it!

Denny's case was also interesting, and it was good seeing the darker side to him as he takes drugs to help him perform. His clash with Paul was brilliantly written, and also very dramatic- I have been able to work out if I like Paul or not. The scene was very poignant though. The case he was involved in was brilliantly written, and covered some good grounds- Denny's closing is one of my favourites of Season 1. It was also a lovely balcony scene at the end of the episode, as Alan and Denny enjoy their understated (at this time) friendship.

Overall, a brilliant episode, one of my all time favourites.
