The main topic of this episode is should fratricide be allowed to go on using the legalities of our legal system. You see in many countries around the world female babies are not brought to term because there is a restriction on the number of children you can have and male babies are preferred. This fifteen year old Chinese girl who has only been in this country for three years obviously thought this was important enough to defy her mother. It was a very difficult situation for everyone involved. I won't debate the pros and cons as this is not the place but this was a pretty heavy subject to deal with. I will refer to the person who was accosted from now on as the jerk. Jerry is obviously a person who has been picked on his whole life. The scene with the jerk started when the jerk was on the phone making a personal call so personal that everyone in the coffee shop was privy to it. Then the jerk was belligerent when Jerry went to move from the cash register and the jerk walked right into Jerry and bad mouthed Jerry again. As Jerry walked away the jerk called Jerry names. So Jerry did what we all would like to do to bullies. He threw his Blueberry Muffin at the jerk hitting him right in the head. The jerk charged Jerry with his fist raised to hit him and Jerry balled up his fist and with his eyes closed through a punch which knocked the jerk out. Then Jerry did do the one thing he probably shouldn't have and that was dance around the guy taunting anyone else to come and get it.

He was guilty as sin but this is Boston Legal and never will the wronged be punished. Kate gives Jerry some really good advice as he is defending himself. You know what they said about the lawyer who defended himself. He's got a fool for a client! Interesting episode with a little levity and a big dose of the heavys. It was right there with Mad Cows so I'll give it an 8.5. Oh, and Jerry made partner! Thanks for reading...moreless
