For once, it was the other storylines that was more entertaining then Denny and Alan.

I did enjoy the Alan and Denny moments, they were quite entertaining, but I didn't quite enjoy judge Gloria, even though the way Alan handled the case was funny and entertaining. It didn't suit Alan to be all posessive at the end of the episode really.

The case between Jerry and Clarence had me hooked. I loved how both of their little quirks play on their chemistry, and I also loved how this was explored in future episodes. Jerry's closing was brilliant, as it showed just how very human he is. He has developped brilliantly over the season.

Shirley and Claire's case was also entertaining, featuring a person who had spontaneously recovered from aids. It included my most favourite senile judge! "Vampire doctor" had me in stitches!

Overall, another great episode, though I could have done without Gloria- fortunately, she isn't featured too much in the future!
  • Jerry Espenson, Joey Slotnick, and Vampire Doctors, what more could I ask for?

I just don't get why people don't like Christian Clemenson on this show...I love the character...What is wrong with you people that you don't like this character?...The sceanes with Christian Clemenson and Gary Anthony Williams were great, and I really want to see more of the two together in future episodes. Joey Slotnick also guest starred on this episode as man who beat HIV, Joey was also on David E. Kelley's other show Boston Public, but he plays a different character. The storyline was ok, but it didn't seem all flushed out completely, they were trying to make his character come off looking like an ass, as the judge said, but I though it was perfectly reasonable as to what he wanted to do. Shelley Berman for me stole the show with his "Vampire Doctor" line that had me laughing in stitches thought the show.
