This was another brilliant episode, even though it was a little predictable that Bev wouldn't be around forever. Nevertheless, ending them by having Denny sleep with another woman in a close closet had me in hysterics.

I didn't care much for Alan's case, which is unsual, but nevertheless it was quite thought provoking. The invasion to ones right to privacy is forever being threatened, and the show did well in conveting the idea of living in an 1984 society very well.

Nevertheless, Denny's annulment was the point of the show I liked most- I really enjoyed the fact that Denny was the one that solved his own problem, proving hes not a complete liability that the partners think he is.

Overall, a good episode to fine Season- I am sure anyone reading these reviews get the point by now!
  • Boston Legal is back to its best! Goodbye Bev. Good riddance.

Denny Crane rules so much! My God!

What a great episode. I’m so glad they got rid of Bev. I hated the character and I really hated the actress. Awful casting. Wont miss her.

Any episode about Denny is always a gem. This one doesn’t disappoint. Great lines, funny moments and nice acting by everyone involved.

I also enjoyed the “smoking” plot. Smokers are being treated worse than drug addicts these days. Very good writing on this one.

After a few below average episodes, “Boston Legal” is back with a BANG!

William Shatner’s facial expressions are just too funny!

    This show rocks!
  • Shirley had one of the funniest lines of the year: "No cure for cancer, but they have three pills for that."

Denny get married, gets turned off by his new wife's greed, and then gets turned on by a waitress, then gets hit in the wallet.

Shatner shines in this one. Joanna Cassidy has stuck around for a few weeks as Bev. She had great chemistry with Shatner and with Brad (Mark Valley). Also, good casting to get Corbin Bernsen as her lawyer. Although it's been years since Bernsen was Arnie Becker on L.A. Law and has since struggled a bit (taking daytime soap work), but he still has charm. Denny handles Bev privately and that shows how much he felt for her and how much class he has.
  • Great writing, great acting.

This show had a very different pace than a lot of the other episodes, but had great writing and acting. It was good to see Bev gone, but really made you feel sad for Denny. It's true, you do crazy things for love.

Nicole Sullivan has quickly became one of my favorite actresses. I have not seen her on Mad TV, but almost everything else after and she is excellent! Her story line is one that really troubles me more and more.
  • Getting rid of bev.

I am glad they got rid of bev but the show missed a little something of what it normally has because of all the focus there about the marriage. It IS a law firm, remember? It is the one excuse i have to watch it in my dorm room, this was more like a soap, although alan's case was great.
  • Denny’s Wedding day finally arrives and unfortunately his faithfulness to his bride only lasts a few hours. Also Alan takes on a case about a woman who was fired because she smokes (cigarettes).

Yay! Bev’s gone; I’ll definitely miss that skull of a face of hers. I was hoping she would go with more of a bang, but it was good enough. William Shatner did very well in this episode, for some reason the writers don’t seem to like to have him be the main character in story-lines but when he does, it’s magic. At the same time it seems like Denny and Alan are rarely ever written together in storylines obviously they do scenes together because they are best friends but Alan is hardly ever completely involved, which is sad because they work so well together. I find myself wondering more and more if they are ever going to have Edwin Poole back since his name is still on the company I assume it is still a possibility that he will come back (although I missed the second episode involving him in the first season, the DVDs of the first season seem to be taking forever to some out). Maybe they are afraid to bring him back because Tara is gone she seemed to be the person in the firm with the most connections with him.

I think that Nicole Sullivan did very good in this episode, she was funny without overacting and she didn’t try to steal the show like some special guests do. In all this was a very good episode.

On a side note I thought it was hilarious that on the first commercial break there was an ad for erectile dysfunction medication.

  • There goes the bride.

Wow! Unfortunatly, I think the image of William Shatner\'s, shall we say, \"O\" face, while dancing will be burned into my head forever... lol

I did love the episode and the reference again to Shatner\'s days on Trek, \"What do you want me to do? Beam to Boston every morning?\"
