Alan helps Jerry Espenson with a client who is a suspect in her girlfriend's hanging murder, but she herself isn't sure if she's guilty. Denny defends Lincoln Meyer who is accused of killing the judge in his trial, but begins to lose interest when Lincoln's behavior becomes more and more strange. Meanwhile, Bethany's mother fights to get Denny back, and Brad and Jeffrey fight each other.
