I had heard of this series, considered the leasst successful of the 77 Sunset Strip clones, but I can't remember if I'd ever actually seen it. A few years ago TV Land, in the waning days of its glory, showed at least one episode as part of a crime drama marathon or something. I saw an episode recently on a DVD purchased from a private seller over the net, and thought it wa pretty good, very New Orleans, at least to someone not all that familiar with the locale other than from various media. It was interesting to to see Richard Long in his pre-Big Valley days. Two of his costars, Andrew Duggan and Van Williams, would go on to guest star in episodes of The Big Valley. It would be nice to see an official DVD release, but I don't know if there's any demand for it. Maybe they could release it as part of a package of the 77 SS clones, but at this point that's probably just wishful thinking.
