Rex (to Hilary): Other men's wives and their marital problems aren't my line.

St. Claire: If you've talked to my wife any length of time, Mr. Randolph, I'm sure she's told you all about the times I've tried to kill her.

St. Claire: Drink?
Rex: No, thanks. It's a little early for me.

Rex: I thought girls gave up diaries along with pinafores.
Hilary: Sometimes they can be quite important.

Rex (to Hilary): I see it's a little dangerous to play games with you. You keep changing the rules all the time.
