Rex: It seems people are taking their murders straight to the police these days but cheer up, Mr. Calhoun, maybe a good embezzlement'll come along.

Sonia: Well, Mr. Randolph, welcome to the House of Ledezan. You'll find it stimulating, I assure you.
Rex: I assure you I already have. Don't tell me there's more to come.

Sonia: There's so many things that aren't what they seem at the House of Ledezan.
Rex: Well, that could be very regrettable.

Sonia: You sure you don't wanna stay?
Rex: Well, everything except my better judgment is telling me to but my better judgment is twisting my arm.

Cal (to Rex): Looks like the vultures put you in a spot you can't walk away from.

Cal: I'm off to Casablanca.
Rex: Don't you ever get tired of those old movies?

Sonia: Tell me, Gregory, is there any special reason you come visiting or do you just wanna air out that headache?
Gregory: The reason's our mutual headache.

Rex: It wasn't so old-fashioned and it wasn't so good but it sure was a beating up.

Melody: What if those awful men come after you again?
Rex: Don't you worry, sugar. Next time it'll be my turn to pick up the check.

Sonia: I never drink alone.
Rex: Wise idea.

Sonia (to Rex): What's safer than sin?

Sonia: Like I told you, you're perfectly safe here.
Rex: Safe as a prisoner serving his term.
