    This episode is special for two reasons- one, being an amazing Christmas special, and Two, for being the one hundredth episode of Boy Meets World. It's also pretty funny, such as the Cory explaining that Feeny reads A Christmas Carol every Christmas, even though no one really has ever asked him to, Eric explaining that the family is a 'nog family', Cory looking into an alternative world after his fight with Topanga, etc. Great Christmas episode. It's kinda weird to have a 100th episode of a show be holiday-related, but it worked really well in this case. A+moreless

    Boy Meets World hadn't had a Christmas episode in 4 years. Topanga shows her control freak nature by doing what she wants instead of the Matthews family.

    Even Cory Matthews got to sing (a little) when he came into the door doing "The First Noel". He has a nice voice.

    Topanga comes to stay with the Matthews for christmas, and she forces her traditions on all of them. Cory is very worried, because he wants to marry her, but he starts to seee how different they are. There is shoddy version of the Christmas Carol when Cory falls asleep at Shawn's. Cory see Topanga and Jack married with two kids. Inside Information: Danielle Fischel and Matthew Lawrence were dating at some period during the show, so it may have been an inside joke. Cory rushes home and tells Topanga that they acan celebrate christmas her way. But Topanga decides they should do what they both want. At the end Mr. Feeny reads the Christmas carol and puts everyone to sleep.moreless

    A Christmas episode isn't very idealistic for an 100th episode special episode but it worked in this case, because it managed to find it's angle other than just any other Christmas episode.


    In homage of "The Christmas Carol" Cory gets to see how life would be if him & Topanga broke up. Topanga would oddly have three kids with the character she interacts the least with, Jack. I love how they stated they hardly know each other, I found that hysterical. This comes to Cory after he realizes that him and Topanga are too different, their holiday traditions are completely different, so he runs off on Christmas Eve. Meanwhile Jack & Shawn try to find a tradition together, in the end, it turns out to be ice skating, and that becomes their new tradition. All the interactions of all the characters were well developed and acted out amazingly. This episode really was a defining moment in Cory and Topanga's relationship. This is when they realized they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, regardless of their differences. This is defined by a promise ring. All family comes together for Christmas, and Topanga is a part of the family. We have relationship issues, hilarious scenes, a holiday theme and an alternate universe, which pretty much is the formula for a perfect episode of Boy Meets World. Heartwarming 100th episode. Didn't disappoint.moreless

    • Shawn to Cory: Do whatever you want, but I'm going ice skating. Jack: Wait a minute, you like ice skating? Shawn: I love ice skating. Jack: I love ice skating too! Shawn: You're kidding. Jack: No! Now we've got something in common, man! Shawn: All right! (they shake hands) Let's go ice skating! And every Christmas we'll go ice skating. We're starting a tradition right here. Jack: I especially love ice skating in France. Shawn: Don't kill this.

    • Topanga: Have you guys ever tried hot mulled cider? Eric: No, nog, we're an eggnog family. Topanga: If this is tradition, I would never want to interfere with tradition. It's just that, you know, my family's always had cider. Cory: Well, we could have both, huh? Eric: How?! How could we have both? You ever been to the super market? The cider's no where near the eggnog. You know why? They hate each other!
