I think they wanted to make the character of Morgan older to have more storylines for her...not that that really panned out.
I'm not positive though, that's just what I always assumed.

Lily played Morgan Matthews in seasons one and two and was replaced by Lindsay Ridgeway in season three.

I've heard a lot of things, mainly that Lily was very bratty and apparently kicked Micheal.

I had to think about it first too, but I'm guessing Michael Jacobs, the producer.

If she did, I guess because she was mad at him and since she was so young (and if she did this, bratty) that's how she took out her anger.

I agree with you in that it seemed like the writers were trying to up the maturity level of Morgan and give her more storylines but IMO they failed miserably.

I agree with you in that it seemed like the writers were trying to up the maturity level of Morgan and give her more storylines but IMO they failed miserably.

I agree...they definitely failed at this...and I was never a Lindsay Ridgeway fan.

Wow. I never heard that, but I always wondered why she got replaced. I thought it was sort of similar to the case with Judy Winslow. I was thinking that maybe they wrote her out of the show without thinking anyone would notice, but they brought her back realizing her mistake. I never heard about her being a brat though. But that's possible. I've heard about that case with child stars.

yeah i was thinkin it was similar to the judy thing...but if she was anythin like her character on the show i can see her kickin someone

I didn't think she was a very good actress. She always seemed to be yelling her lines. I always thought that was the reason.

i think it made her more of a kid..better than that one kid they had that didnt say much but was still adorable

I agree. I never thought she was very good in her role at all.
