Shawn nicknames a 7th grader "Dances with Sweaters"; an allusion to the Kevin Costner film, Dances with Wolves.
Frankie: Here I wander, like the Israelites in the days of Yul Brynner. A reference to the film The Ten Commandments, in which Yul Brynner played Rameses.
