- Billy: They're trying to kill it! The little kid that wants to stay up late to watch his favorite show is obviously referring to Boy Meets World itself, a show that was moved around on the Friday night lineup several times during its run. He later refers to the "Curly-haired kid," an obviously reference to Cory, to which Cory responds, "I love him. He is such a doof!" The self-reference occurs again when Billy says that the curly haired kid is "digging himself in deeper and deeper," which was what Cory was doing at that exact second.
