With the wedding over, Cory and Topanga can't wait to begin enjoying their honeymoon at a hotel suite that Eric booked for them. The newlyweds soon find out that the suite wasn't reserved for them when the cops show up and they spend their wedding night in jail. The following day Cory and Topanga head to beautiful Katonka for their honeymoon. It's not long before Cory and Topanga become convinced that Katonka is paradise. One afternoon Cory and Topanga meet a retired couple that have decided to move to this perfect place because they enjoy it so much. This prompts Cory to reevaluate the place that he calls home. Soon after, Cory and Topanga decide to stay in Katonka a little longer.
After a few days pass, Cory tells Topanga that he doesn't want to go back home. Topanga reminds him that they have limited funds and paradise is expensive. This doesn't faze Cory however, the next day he opens a coconut-carving stand to support them financially. Although things seem to be wonderful, with each day that passes Cory and Topanga begin to realize how much they miss their family and friends, and that they must return home.
In the meantime, Eric trails Topanga and Cory without their knowledge. During his stay, Eric does many things to help the newlyweds enjoy themselves, but they never find out that he is there. When Cory and Topanga begin to have second thoughts about going home, Eric leaves them subtle hints that persuade them to go back home.
