In an interview with the main cast of 'Boy Meets World'. after the finale aired, Danielle Fishel revealed that in her last scene, she was originally not meant to cry. Knowing that it was her last scene ever, she broke down while saying her lines. The scene was kept as is, due to the realness of her emotion.
In the first episode, Cory says he doesn't understand anything about the world around him. In the last episode, he gives a speech to Josh, about the world around him and how he understands it. Thus the show comes full circle. "Boy Meets World, now I get it!"
In this episode, Mr. Feeny reveals that Cory's real name is Cornelius and also that Topanga knows nothing about it. But, Topanga would have found out when she signed the marriage license, because you have to use your real name. You cannot use a nickname unless you legally change your name at the Philadelphia courthouse.
Feeny tells the gang that it would be wrong for him to say "I Love You" to them. Yet he says it to Eric at his wedding.
Goof: After Eric does the Feeny call at the beginning of the episode, he turns to Cory and says: "That was a new one!" But when Eric brings out the Feeny doll a couple seconds later, it does the same call.
Goof: After Eric shows Mr. Feeny his doll that he made for him, he leaves without giving it to him.
When Cory is receiving advice from Feeny, the grill on the side of them is closed in one scene, opened in the next, and then closed again.
When Cory shows Topanga his old retainer from the fifth grade, he asks her if she remembers when he used to kiss her after lunch; but he didn't kiss Topanga until the sixth grade, in Cory's Alternative Friends.
In Cory and Topanga's bedroom there is a penguin over the drawer which is the same bedtime penguin pal of Joey Tribbiani, from FRIENDS. You can see this at 3:23
Eric's second premonition tells him that there is a fire at the Peterman warehouse. This is a possible reference to the "disposable diaper Petermans" from It's About Time.
When Topanga takes the quiches out of the oven, she tells Corey to taste them and he does. If the quiches just came out of the oven, they would have burned his mouth.
After being mentioned several times throughout the series, Nana Boo Boo finally makes an appearance in this episode.
Topanga is seen eating a pizza with pepperoni on it. She could have grown out of it; but in the first season she was an adamant vegetarian.
Eric confused the words "niche" and "niece" in the alternate reality; he also got them confused in "I'm Gonna Be Like You, Dad" , and also confuses the two in "Eric Hollywood".
The first time Eric leaves the classroom, he says "Why didn't you write anything down?" to the others. But when the scene is replayed, he says "Why didn't anybody write anything down?" to the others.
At the end of this episode, Eric flings the door of the classroom open, runs out and picks up Rachel. He re-enters the classroom carrying her, puts her on the floor and sits on her. When the camera angle changes to a view from where the rest of the gang is sitting, the door of the classroom is clearly shut tight, even though Eric did not close it on the way in.
In City Slackers, when Shawn is reading Mr. Feeny's diary, he says that Mr. Feeny called in sick in 1961. However, in this episode, at Feeny's retirement party, it says: MR. FEENY BELOVED TEACHER 1964-2006.
Rachel said she made the picture for Jack when they were dating, but her hair was a different color than it was while they were dating.
Ralph Manza, who played Cory's crazy Uncle Morrie, died just three days after this episode aired.
Goof: Alan tells Eric to go off with his friends, and he'll close the store; but when Eric, Jack and Rachel leave, Alan follows them out and shuts the lights off.
