A wolf escaped from the zoo and an unidentified animal bites Cory. This can only mean one thing: Cory is becoming a werewolf!
When he wakes up the next morning he notices that he's growing hair in places he "doesn't see are really gonna help". Eric knows his little brother is going through puberty but he can't resist messing with Cory's head. He pulls out a tabloid magazine and convinces Cory that the werewolf article is true.
Troubled, he visits Frank's House of Yogurt (and some occult), where a fortune teller affirms his suspiscions. Madame Ouspanskaya foretells that Cory will develop "the appetite of a wolf, a taste for things you've never eaten before," she says "the sign of the pentagram will appear in your hand," and finally, she promises, "There is a girl who feels deeply for you, but when the madness of the wolf comes upon you, you will repay her love by killing her in a gruesome, evil manner."
When Mr. Turner catches him writing a note to Shawn, Cory shoves the paper into his mouth, fulfilling the first prophecy. Then, in a later conversation with Mr. Turner, Cory inadvertantly picks up his teachers keychain which leaves the impression of the pentagon on his hand...the 2nd prophecy.
Topanga meets Cory in his room on the night of the Halloween party. He urges her to flee, but she stays...confused. At 9:00 Topanga assures Cory that there's nothing wrong with him. They kiss and leave for the party.
