Before watching your show this week, we were wondering how to authenticate a document we had found. We believe we posess a copy of the Declaration of Independance. This copy seems to be a draft, and contains editing. The paper is it is on seems to be parchment or velum. It is 15 and 1/2 by 13 and 3/4 of so theright side of the document is rough. The first editing is to add an n to the word representative as it wasleft out, in the line that reads "He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly," and the second would be to add the word only in the sentence reading, "Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury". We would like to know if this document is an actual draft, as it is signed and the whole thing is in cusive writing, not block printed. We have no access to the internet at home so I am enclosing address and phone # were we can be reached.Thank You
