Good episode. Several faces that you will recognize from other westerns of that era. This episode closely resembles the KKK in Kirby's "Knights of Liberty" organization, however, leads the veiw to beleive that the organization is one of overthrowing the US Govenment in order to restore the south once again. Does not parallel or reference race.

      McCord: How about you?
Kirby: No. In the eyes of the law, I'm guilty. What they call treason, I call patriotism.
McCord: If you're guilty of treason against a county that is as wrong about you as they are about me. you've earned my respect and admiration.
