Episode Summary

Flim Flam Fever / Private Antics, Major Problems
Flim Flam Fever: After Brandy realizes how difficult it is to wash clothes in the jungle, she sees Lola Boa coughing. While many denizens of the jungle rush to Lola, telling her that they would do anything for her since she was sick, Brandy formulates a plan to pretend she is sick so she will receive such special treatment as well. Will all go well with her plan or will she end up messing up, losing her friends in the process? Private Antics, Major Problems: When Brandy and Mr. Whiskers try to eat the tastiest fruit in the jungle, Brandy finds out that the fruit tastes like dirty socks. As Brandy marches off in frustration, she kicks down an ant hill, leaving it exposed to the ant eaters who attack the hill on a regular basis. The Sargent Ant goes after Brandy to get her and Mr. Whiskers to defend the ant hill until the mound can be fixed, but will Brandy agree to join the ant army, and will she even be capable of defending the hill from the ant eaters, or not?moreless

  • I Remember this episode

This was the episode where Brandy got sick but she got well after.
  • Alright episodes, but great fillers. Brandy lies to get papmered while "Private Antics, Major Problems" was kinda a flashback episode. Both episodes had important morals.

"Film Flam Fever" was, like any other Brandy and Mr. Whiskers episode, kinda cliche but potrayed well. Anyway, it was great to see that the jungle had some herbs. I also liked how Brandy's faking was also known to also be some kind of disease.

"Private Antics, Major Problems" was abother superb segment. I think this segment was much better because it broke the fourth wall. The way it broke the fourth wall was interesting because it was a flashback and the fast-forwarding scenes was great. I also liked Sarge's voice. It did seem to fit him quite well. And from what I can tell, I dont think the ants will ever come again in the series...

Overall, two filler episodes that are great that you should see, despite that more effort can be put in.moreless

    • Brandy: Hey, I make that uniform look good!
Brandy: (in the flashback) Yeah I do, don't I?
Brandy: Totally! Maybe with another belt…
Mr. Whiskers: (interrupting Brandy) Hey, no interacting with your flashback Sal!

    • Brandy: I promise never to lie just to get special treatment.
Mr. Whiskers: You're lying right now, aren't you?
Brandy: (modestly) Yeah, yeah I am.

    • Brandy: (to Mr. Whiskers) Hello, I thought you were a big, brave soldier ready to defend the colony!
Mr. Whiskers: Yeah, but I didn't actually think we'd see action! I'm no fighter, I'm a pacifier!

    • Sarge Ant: Private Brandy, it is my distinguished honor to give you an honorable discharge from the Army Ant Army.
Brandy: Yes, civilian again! Oh, and can I keep the uniform?
Sarge: Sure, why not? You've earned it.

    • Brandy: (eating the fruit) Yuck, it tastes like dirty socks!
Mr. Whiskers: Really, let me try! (he takes a bite) Hey, it does taste like dirty socks, I like it!

    • Mr. Whiskers: Well, that's the story, except for when you threw a temper tantrum and tried to feed me my own arm. (he turns to the camera) I thought it was a family show.

    • Brandy: (pretending to be sick) Aunt Petunia, is that you? My how you've changed!
Mr. Whiskers: Well, I did shrink a little with old age, but...wait a minute!
