  • Do The Funky Bunny,Mr.Whiskers Runs for Jungle Leader.

Another of My Favourite Episodes of Brandy and Mr.Whiskers Comes The Funky Bunny and Going Bannanas Republic I Know Quality When I've Seen It like Brandy and Mr.Whiskers going out to The Jungle Prom and Tired of Having The Beach all for Gaspar Mr.Whiskers and Brandy the Campain Manager Run for Jungle Leader were Perfect Ideas.Hats off The Writers of the Episodes
  • Both great episodes.

I enjoyed both of these episodes. The first was my favorite. I liked the fact that Mr. Whiskers became the life of the party, but I felt really bad for Brandy when she was sitting there alone. The second was an OK episode. It was nice to see Brandy try to stop being so controlling.
  • Both these episodes were very entertaining.

I enjoyed both of these episodes very much. I thought Funky Bunny was very funny, and a series classic. I was packed with humor, and very enjoyable to watch. As for Going Bananas Republic, I wasn't as pleased. It was an alright episode, but nothing too special. It had a basic plot, which of course, had a twist at the end resulting from too much power. Both these episodes were good, but I personally enjoyed the Funky Bunny episode more.moreless
  • These are two pretty good episodes, but I just felt that Brandy was potrayed very well albeit, mean and controlling; she wanted to be treated like a queen.

Funky Bunny/The Going Bananas Republic were two very good episodes which also provided the jungle with some civilisation.

Funky Bunny was funny in that Ed was potrayed very well. His continuous talking and the yes-no merging into "yo" was quite exilarating. Anyway, this episode also showed us more about one of the Harrington celebrations. However, the only part I disliked about this episode was that Ed was at the ball and later was at the end, technically its a goof. But, Whiskers helping Brandy was nice and I also think Margo is not as snobbish as she usually is which is quite good.

The Going Bananas Republic was quite good, albeit cliche; Brandy made WHiskers a bad president bad and in the end had to give it up their control to Gaspar. But, this also provided the Amazon with somemore development in Season 1. Anyway, I did like teh humor used in the episode, especially when Gasper got hit by a mango.

So overall, two good episodes which I do recommend you to see as it is quite informative.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (18)

    • Brandy: (asking Ed to go to the ball with her) Is that a "yes" or a "no"?
Ed: Well, it's neither a "yes" or a "no". It's-it's-it's both. It's a "yo". The balance between man and woman...
      (Whiskers appears)
Whiskers: Uh, Brandy. This is gonna be a while.

    • Gaspar: I wanted to make you an offer.
Mr. Whiskers: Well, if it's about trying to switch long distance carriers, then forget it pal! We don't even have a phone!
Gaspar: (to the screen) I still can't believe I lost to that guy.

    • Brandy: (to Mr. Whiskers) You're like a kid brother, and going to a dance with your kid brother is no way to shine like a diamond.

    • Brandy: Thank you, Whiskers, you saved the ball!
Mr. Whiskers: I had to Brandy; it was your moment to shine.
Brandy: I did, but you're the one who shined.

    • Mr. Whiskers: Can you explain this to me again?
Brandy: It's the annual Harrington Family Ball; obviously I won't be able to attend the real one this year.

    • Brandy: I need a date for the Harrington Ball.
      Ed: Yeah, and?
Brandy: I need you to be my date!
Ed: Oh my, Miss Brandy, what a forward offer you have presented me with!

    • Brandy: I know you don't understand this, but this is important to me. Please, just don't mess up.
Mr. Whiskers: Um, Ok, you can count on me.

    • Brandy: Oh my gosh, we're worse than Gaspar! What would a true leader do at a time like this! Oh, I know, blame somebody else! (she points to a small animal) Hey you, you're taking the fall, beat it!

    • (Mr. Whiskers wipes his nose, his snot sticks to his hands)
      Brandy: Ew, gross!
Mr. Whiskers: I guess that is snot the right thing to do!

    • Monkey Reporter: What does Presidency for Whiskers mean to the jungle?
Gaspar: unending chaos, lizards riot up, 10,000 years of darkness and cheers.
Monkey Reporter: And if you're elected?
Gaspar: Pretty much the same thing, I just got a nicer smile.

    • Brandy: I'm the most desirable female in the jungle; I'll have a date within two swishes of my tail.
(Brandy begins swishing her tail around.

    • Mr. Whiskers: Shouldn't I be discussing the issues? Or at least know what they are?
Brandy: This is an election, let's stay away from the issues.

    • Brandy: I'm going to work on my tan!
Mr. Whiskers: I'm gonna try not to drown!

    • (Mr. Whiskers was doing the funky bunny, which is moving his butt in the air.)
      Brandy: No, no! Stop, stop!
      Mr. Whiskers: Too hot?

    • (Whiskers looks at sign that says "no swimming")
Mr. Whiskers: Doesn't that defeat the purpose?
      Brandy: You're right...
(Brandy adds to the sign "except for chief advisor and invited guests")
Mr. Whiskers: Am I an invited guest?
      Brandy: No.

    • Mr. Whiskers: So, does anyone else like pie?

    • Brandy: (talking about herself) Intriguing question: Can a girl shine like a diamond without a date?
(Brandy takes a few moments to think, then she speaks to Mr. Whiskers)
Brandy: No, probably not, you're a necessary evil.
Mr. Whiskers: Yay! Hurray for evil!
      Brandy: Zip it!

    • Monkey Reporter: Mr. Whiskers, what is your background? (Whiskers looks and points at a bunch of trees.)
Mr. Whiskers: Trees... Lots of 'em...
