(Howler monkeys are tying Whiskers to a log by a waterfall)
Whiskers: Oh, this is fun Mom and Dad! What are we playing now?
Male Howler: Its a little game called throw the past into the waterfall!
Whiskers: Hmm! I never heard of that game.
Female Howler: Were sorry Whiskers but you are just too obnoxious, even for us howler monkeys!
(To Cheryl and Meryl, about her former roommate)
Brandy: And then I told her to leave. You know, Whiskers was a slob, but at least he knew how to have fun.
Brandy: Well, at least I got my snob back.
Mr. Whiskers: Yeah.
(Mr. Whiskers jumps on Brandy's back and begins to pet her head)
Mr. Whiskers: Who's a good doggy?
Brandy: (laughing as her leg begins to twitch) Hey, stop it! I hate that whole leg twitchy thing!
Brandy: (to Mr. Whiskers) I'm Brandy the mutt! Face it Whiskers, I wasn't born to greatness; I was born to scratch fleas and drink from the toilet!
Mr. Whiskers: Good morning, merry sunshine!
(Brandy turns around, ignoring Mr. Whiskers)
Mr. Whiskers: I was going to sit here and let you stew in your own juices, but then I remembered, Palm Beach!
Brandy: (half-hearted) Woof.
Mr. Whiskers: Brandy, I know you can win this thing. I know you can!
Brandy: (half-hearted) Arf.
Mr. Whiskers: Don't you at least want to see it?
Brandy: (half-hearted) Bark.
Mr. Whiskers: All right. We'll do it your way. Walkies! Brandy want walkies?
Brandy: Palm Beach...
Mr. Whiskers: Why does Palm Beach look so much like the Amazon?
Brandy: This is the Amazon!
Gaspar Le Gecko: Palm Beach Amazon, A tropical paradise in the middle of a tropical paradise. Enjoy.
This episode was up for "First Disney Channel Episode Of 2005" in Disney Channel's New Year's Eve House Party (2005). The show lost to Phil of the Future and Lilo & Stitch: The Series.
Whiskers: Ohana, and all that. Or, was it hakuna matata?
"Ohana" is the Hawaiian word for family. Family means, "Nobody gets left behind or forgotten". This reference came from Lilo & Stitch: The Series. "Hakuna Matata" means no worries. This reference comes from The Lion King.
