  • The episode that finally put me on the edge of my seat.

Breaking Bad is by far one of the better shows on television. It has been a great season thus far, but it lacked the tension at the beginning when it came to the drug ring. But now that the drug ring has been brought back into the situation, we can get back to the tense moments that come with it.

This episode absolutely blew me away. This is some creativity that I never would have thought could occur on television. The creativity of the lone bullet in the one cousin's jacket pocket falling out and Hank using that bullet to take him out was absolutely genius. It's a direction that provided the audience with a lot of tension. I haven't been on the edge of my seat like this since the earlier seasons of 24. This show absolutely had my heartbeat pumping, my blood pressure rising, and sweat was literally pouring down my face (granted I'm in a hot residence hall). But I felt a feeling that I haven't felt in a long time while watching television, and Breaking Bad had that moment for me.

I can't wait until next week's episode to find out what happens to Hank. I think it's up in the air, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was in a coma or didn't appear until the end of this season again. There's no telling what they'll do with him, but I'll be interested to find out.

Thank you, Breaking Bad, for an incredible episode and a great bang at the end. You really put a lot of time and effort into that scene, and I really enjoyed it. One of the best scenes that will ever appear on television...EVER
  • As good as anything the show has ever done, if not better

I'm not sure why I never got around to reviewing this episode, or most of Season 3 for that matter, but this was just amazing television. The fact that Mad Men continues to win over this show boggles my mind.. both are good, but at least Breaking Bad takes the slow tendencies of Mad Men and combines them with high octane (and believable) action.

From start to finish, the episode was filled with surprising moments. The episode is book-ended with violent scenes, beginning with Hank beating the living crap out of Jesse (to the point where we think he's dead) and the ending, where Hank finds himself attacked by the two twins. That ending was insane, something I didn't think the show would do this early in the season. It's the kind of insanity that Mad Men doesn't do, and while some shows stumble over scenes like this, Breaking Bad does it in a way that is completely real.

This was just great acting all the way around and amazing build-up. It was obvious (at least for me) who was on the other line of the call, but it changes the entire game and shows how smart of a guy Gus is. He's not afraid to get his hands dirty to keep him and his family safe.

The rest of the season was amazing, but this was one of the high points for sure.

This episode was titled one minute, but it featured 60 minutes of high-octane action like only Breaking Bad can provide. We saw Hank snap and beat down Jesse, but in the end for all the breaks that Walt and Jesse have gotten, in true poetic justice, Hank got away with his one mistake.

I liked the episode because things finally got back on track with Jesse and Walt cooking again. I have said this was the way the show needs to be, and the months with them apart were pointless. Finally, the mistake has been rectified.

I cannot believe the twins are gone though. That was another mistake in my opinion, but I suppose they won't be necessary as I am predicting the season finale will end with Hank finally catching Walt in the act and realizing what he has done.
  • Had me until the end, at which point I let out a huge sigh of disappointment.

This had the potential to be a great episode but alas at the last minute the plague that has infected television and movies rears its ugly head once again. At the expense of creating truly great drama and progressing the storyline we get another miraculous near death experience of one of the main characters. Just once would I love to see some writers have the guts to create a show that prides itself on the quality of the story and not how many seasons they can milk from it. While Breaking Bad still remains one of my favorite shows, it's beginning to stagnate fast. Please writers, for the sake of this show, let this be the last season.

Another absolutely amazing episode of Breaking Bad, just as good, if not better, than the last. The most action packed episode of Breaking Bad that I've seen in a while. This show is finally back on track! It shows when you watch this episode and the last episode.

The episode immediately gets you enticed with the wildly disturbing cold opening, then we've got Hank nearly beat Jesse to death, after what happened in the last episode. This episode also gives the fans what they've been missing all season long. The interactions between Jesse & Walt. Walt inviting Jesse to cook with him again got me cheering.

This epsiode really left me at the edge of my seat at the very end, from start to finish, this episode was wonderful. The ending... wow. Biting my nails all the way through. From Hank getting the call that he was one minute to live, to Hank's struggle for survival.

I really thought we were going to lose Hank here, but killing off the brothers was just as climactic. Things are back on track for this show, and I can't wait for the episodes to come. Brilliant acting from Aaron Paul here too, his speech nearly left me in tears.

Amazing episode of Breaking Bad tonight, keep it coming!
  • Hank was the hero of this episode amazing acting from both Hank and Jesse.. Skylar feels her ex-husband is going through a rough time.. all in all amazing episode.

The acting was great from Hank and Jesse. The twisted minded Mexican twins have finally been eliminated by Hank. What amazing charisma from the weird thinking DEA. this show keeps bringing more and more genius ideas i give this show a FULL score because it deserves it people have been working hard on getting this show to rise and a 10 is well deserved for it. I suggest whoever doesn't know how this show goes to actually check it out for them selves and always remember not to judge a show by the first couple of episodes. They always tend to change for the better.
  • Hank's situation gets real, Jesse takes one for the team, and the Cousins go for the kill

This episode was superbly on par with last weeks episode but this had a lot more action. This week's installment saw Hank approaching Jesse's house angry that he made him think that Marie was severely hurt and then severely hurts Jesse. While at hospital Saul takes pics of Jesse's wounds and says that this incident will clear his situation with the DEA and get them off his back and Walt wants to prevent Jesse from ruining Hank's life by pressing charges and so gets his more than qualified lab partner fired and replaces him with Jesse. Hank decides to tell the truth and nearly breaks down but then when all seems well when he finds out that Pinkman is dropping the charges the Cousins make their move, after he recieves and anonymous tip from a scrambled ominously voiced person a massive blood shed fight ensues that will make Breaking Bad history.

People would ask me what the most exciting episode of TV would be. I'd say an episode from Dexter. But now, there's no doubt that its Breaking Bad. There's a scene in this episode when we see two children playing in a field with a great drug lord watching them. We recognize these kids. They turn into two of the most unstoppable looking characters in the show. Then we get a brutal scene when the drug lord half-drowns one of the cousins so they learn a lesson about family. Watch it. It's a great scene. But wait. It's actually the first scene in the episode. Then we get Jesse (Aaron Paul) screaming at Walt about his ruined life. Whatever biases we have of Jesse disappear. Another great scene. Each scene comes and each scene goes. It kept my heart beating and all the parts I hated about TV were washed out by the parts that I loved about it. The episode wraps itself up in Breaking Bad's biggest showdown. Between the Cousins and Hank. It's not just a great way to finish the episode, it's also gonna be a classic way. Because the impending doom we feel in the show actually proved to be even more destructive then what I imagined. It should be a great week for Breaking Bad.
  • By far one of the best episodes this season.

Hank takes his anger out on Jess with a full blown beating for the prank call that made him think his wife was in a car accident. This is yet another consequences of walters actions being felt by someone else instead of him, they seem to mount week by week. The end of this episode see's Hank come face to face with the two dangerous brothers out for revenge. Suprisingly, Hank actually comes out on top when he gets a mysterious tip off just before they pounce. Has he unknowingly saved Walters skin too? This way a great episode, one of the best.
  • Hank takes revenge on Jesse for fooling and scaring him. Jesse threatens Walt and thereby forces him to protect Hank and his wife. Walt has no other choice than offering Jesse another job. And finally, the Mexican vendetta reaches its showdown.

In my opinion, this episode was the second best one in the whole series... It's very hard to top the last one, "Sunset", but just because of the latter one's variety and subtle humoristic touches. This episode was rather focussing on tragedy, wonderfully incorporated by all characters, even Saul Goodman.

Also, they've evened the way to a very exciting last few episodes, because I think the one twin Hank tried to smash with his car can make an escape from the scene and will be even more infuriated and blood thirsty than he was when the two were still together.

To sum it up, there is still a lot of potential in the series and - though it it's quite hard to imagine it getting even better than it is now - we will be surprised.

I am even tempted to ask an unholy question here... Is Breaking Bad becoming better than Lost???

(Please don't stone me, I love Lost... :))

I think it's safe to say this is a pinnacle for this season. PTSD has finally pushed Hank over the edge. Jesse gets landed in the hospital and wakes up with new determination that strikes fear and worry in Walter leaving him to contemplate bringing Jesse back into partnership. Also the episode ends in a bang!

It's great that after watching this episode I can think back to how much Walter's actions have affected his family and friends. All because of him and his choices have resulted in the cause and effect of the past two seasons. Especially the last two episodes.

Hank's character showed great development. Even though we've seen him going through a very rough time this season, this episode showed him at his most vulnerable. The dry/hardass DEA agent bore his soul and seems to be the only one of all the characters willing to own up and take responsibility for his actions. A noble trait that puts him up there as one of the heroes of the series. The showdown at the end was masterfully planned and executed and I couldn't help but sit at the edge of my seat scared to even blink so as not to miss anything. Way to go Hank! You just became one of my favorite characters.
