The fourth episode of Breakout Kings is pretty much like the first three. The show did a good job of creating an entertaining perp, and one that the viewer at home does not root for. The show itself though continues to struggle. The dialogue is not witty at all. NCIS on its worst day has better banter than this show could conjure up.

They also do not do a very good job of expressing why this team is needed. In today's episode for instance, why could the cops not have handled this? They probably would have done it with less complications too.

Ah, this show just frustrstes me. I know that the episodes can be so much better than this one, but I just think they've made too many mistakes to come back from.moreless

    • Toronto's "TTC Rocket" was used for the subway footage shooting. They began at 2 a.m. in order to have full and uninterrupted access to specific train cars and platforms. "Lower Bay Station" also used for part of the footage has been closed to the public since the 1960's.

    • The rap performed by the inmate during the taping of "Prison Life" was actually written by creator/writer/executive producer Nick Santora and two of his friends when they were seventeen. They wrote it to perform at their high school "Battle of the Bands" but dropped out of the competition at the last minute. Nick resurrected the lyrics for this episode.

    • Goof: When Ray asks the old man if he owns a green BMW, we see the episode cut to a scene with a blue BMW.

    • Lloyd: Gimmie your gun I want to shoot some people!
      Charlie: What?
Lloyd: You get to play doctor, I get to play G-man.
      Charlie: G-man is FBI.
Lloyd: You told Erica to 'bottle it up'. What kind of Guatemalan med school did you go to Charlie?
Charlie: She's got to focus on the task at hand.
Lloyd: She needs an emotional release jackass! Her father was murdered; her kid was taken away from her, she has rage issues! And you're telling her to put a cork in Mount Vesuvius.
Charlie: Did you just call me a Jackass?
      Lloyd: Possibly.
