Bremen Avenue Experience

Show Summary

The Bremen Avenue Experience is an animated television series on Cartoon Network written by Steve Patrick and directed by Adam Fuchs in 2008. The series is considered either a modern adaptation or the descendants of the old musicians of Bremen from the popular medieval folktale of Germany popularized by The Brothers Grimm. These fives episodes, that originally aired in between cartoon breaks, follows four illustrious and funny animals as they form their garage band. Jessica, the cat, is the bassist, Simon, the dog, is the overly enthusiastic guitarist, Barret, the donkey, is the keyboardist and group leader and Tanner, the rooster, is the eccentric yet lovable drummer. The series follows these creatures through their group rehearsals, where they quickly learn how to deal with each other and everyone's quirky personalities, all while trying to create music together, sometimes succeeding and sometimes not. Episodes include, Introducing the Bremen Avenue Experience', 'Barrett's Story', 'Tanner's Story', 'Jessica's Story' and 'Simon's Story'. These four characters might be the next best rock band if they can only learn to play in harmony, get out of each other's way and stop arguing.
