Once again another solid episode that starts off strong but wavers off a little towards the end. Never would have thought that a cartoon made for children would have used such war tactics like isolating the target and cutting off all resources and supplies. As a kid I definitely didn't understand that concept, and it's pretty neat how they emphasize the importance of morale but regaining the picture of Martin; on one hand it seems silly that an inanimate object could be that vital to your morale, on the other it holds all the hope and value of those living in Redwall. Towards the end though when Matthias retrieves Martin, it got kind of silly. Hard to believe that 3 people could single handedly ward off an entire army.moreless
