So by the fourth episode the story is already proclaiming Matthias to be the saviour. Would have been preferable if there was a gradual progression, instead it feels like the cartoon is hastily making Matthias a hero when just episodes ago he was nothing but a commoner mice. What the cartoon, and particularly this episode, is doing right though is that the progression to completing his destiny as succeeding Martin is at least pacing itself pretty good. Matthias first collects his shield and belt, and now his scabbard. These adventures where a character goes scavenger hunting are always the most rewarding.moreless
