    • The Devil: Even for a dead man, you don't look so good.

    • Devil: Ezekiel, listen to me. If your illness prevents you from doing your job, everything we have come to mean to each other will be finished.
      Stone: I love you too.

    • Devil: You know, before pesky old modern dental science butted in, plain ordinary gum disease wiped out millions. Now we've had some progress. We've got enlarged prostates; diabetes; clogged arteries, not to mention the big 'C.' So many ways to die. Hard to pick a favorite.

    • Stone: You're enjoying this aren't you. Is this fun?
Devil: Alright, alright. Look down there here, look. Gonorrhea. Gonorrhea. Gonorrhea [sings]. It's such a romantic sounding word for such a painful malady isn't it. And, ah, oh, look. Mister Colitis, and oh look at little Miss Chronic Hiccups.

    • (Stone brushes his teeth)
The Devil: Four out of five dentists surveyed agree, tooth decay is no longer a problem... once you're dead.

    • The Devil: These microbes never cease to amaze me. An orgy of pain and suffering in such a little tiny package. You really have to give that old bitch Mother Nature a lot of credit.
Stone: Mother Nature? What the hell she's got to do with this? Pain and suffering's your domain, isn't it?
The Devil: Moi? My job's not to decide who lives and dies. My business is with the soul. And I have never damned a soul who didn't thoroughly deserve it. Mother Nature is a completely different story. She kills indiscriminately, good and evil alike. Why she gets all the good press, I'll never know.

    • The Devil: So, Ezekiel, how did it feel? A pariah, shunned and hated by your fellow men?
Stone: Kinda reminded me of you. (the Devil laughs) Yeah, run out of Heaven on a rail. I bet it still hurts, doesn't it?
