Brooklyn Bridge had a good feeling about it. You knew the boys were loved. You knew the parents worked hard, not for status but to help others and to support the family. You knew the grandparents were respected and loved by the whole family. Warm fuzzies all around.

I love this show because it brings back nostalgia for the time I was raised in New Jersey in a Jewish family. We went to Coney Island for many years . I became a fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers and especially Jackie Robinson.I was very fond of my grandparents, whom we visited every week. For the first five years of my life we all lived with the grandparents, because it was during the great depression. As a teenager I often went with my friends on the subway to Manhattan and Brooklyn to see the Dodgers play at Ebbets Field. Like Alan Silver, my girlfriends were not Jewish girls. Many warm and wonderful memories revived by this show.
