This is a thoroughly delightful, poignant story. It captures the very essence of a father struggling to "let go" of the old summer home -- the home of his parents, the home he was hoping to pass on to his children.. but life got in the way. The writer has examined the issue through the voices of family members in such a way, you think you're a member of that family.. and is that not the highest compliment you can bestow on tv sitcom. In the end there are no surprises (just tears) as the writer satisfies us (the viewers) with the father moving on by selling the old home but not selling the old memory.
