I had a funny feeling something was going to happen.......... Showtime barely advertised the show for this season. If it does get cancelled maybe someone else can pick it up.

    I'm very disappointed.
I love this show, and it had been my favorite series since the Wire had ended.

2008 is a terrible year (with the end of the shield, the wire and brotherhood)

This was a premature call. It appears the show will at least finish this season, with 3 more episodes on the way. I hope that if it's not renewed, they have plans to give it an official ending.

I really hope it doesn't get cancelled , especially now that it's on demand. I became a fan of this show only this past summer, mostly because I'm a big Jason Isaacs fan. But I really do enjoy watching the show, and the plot. I lost Moonlight this past spring I would be sad to loose another !

Why is season 4 being listed in the episode list?

Another "series finale that leaves loyal viewers scratching their heads. Where did Michael go? Did they buy the staged suicide? Where is Colin and what was he involved in during that 5 second clip that was part of the final views of the cast of characters? Just one more of numerous badly failed attempts to imitate the baptism scene from the Godfather.

Other shows with non-finale finales recently were The Sopranos, The Wire and worst of all...The Shield.

Very sad to see this, I already had the feeling but now that I looked the show up again and saw it was cancelled I really dont know if I will start to watch season 3 even, especially now that I spoiled myself a bit

But how can you mention the Sopranos, the Wire and the shield as an example of non-closure??

The Wire had an exceptional ending with pretty much all the closure that was needed. You never really defeat crime and the show stated that in its finale.
Similar to the Shield where there was also all the closure that was needed.
Did you need Vic to die so you could move on? I am happy he survived everything.

The Sopranos had sort of a "publicity gag" ending but it was still very fitting in my opinion. I would not have liked a dumbed down Tony gets shot, dies, the end just so the mainstream audiences can sleep well at night.
I like the thought how this show could have gone on and on and on even after Tonys death and the ending was creative enough IMO.
