Brotherhood has been an interesting show from the start, but now in its second season reaches new levels in plot development and direction. If any show can fill the void that The Sopranos left, Brotherhood is it.
This Episode contains one of the saddest moments in TV history. A mother goes to collect the remains of her 8 year old son, who has been shot by another kid. The way this scene is played out made even a jaded viewer like me tear up.

Brotherhood takes the less than glamorous approach to gangster life that made Sopranos feel so real to a whole new level. Almost everything in this series is ugly, but the result is sometimes beautiful to watch. And this episode is a gem.moreless
