  • Good one..

    9.5
I'm usually more into action or comedy but I do take time to watch a few drama shows. And Brothers and sisters is certainly on my top 3 dramas.

This episode was interesting. We finally found out what was wrong with Kitty and although I thought it was annoying of Kevin to force the baby thing on Scotty, the situation resolved itself fine.. for now, I guess.

Sarah is still in Paris. Justin is busy studying. Rebecca is kinda competing with Ryan in Ojai.

The new half-brother is doing something behind everyone's backs.

Overall a good episode. Surely I miss Sarah and her sparking personality but everyone else is doing just fine so the show is still on its track.

Like I've said in the show review. The chemistry between the actors, the family dyanamic and interesting and beliavable storylines are all that make this show one of the best around.

    Cheers!moreless
  • Another good one

In this episode of Brothers and Sisters, the following happens. As news of Roberts heart attack is broken across the world, little does he know about the health problems his wife has. Kitty goes to see her mother and asks her to go with her to see the doctor, which is when we learn that Kitty has cancer. And so she has to break the news to Robert.

As we end, we see her having more tests run, with Robert by her side. Nora goes to see Saul and tells him about Kitty's condition and collapses into his arms in tears. And we also learn in this episode, the true reason why Scotty is putting off having a baby with Kevin, because he fears that they won't be able to cope with a baby and both of their jobs.moreless

While Kitty is finding this out about herself, Robert is having a campaign crisis where his opponent tells everyone that Robert actually did have a heart-attack in season 3. At the end of the show, Kitty gets her first bone marrow biopsy.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Robert: Why didn't you tell me?
Kitty: I know. I know. I think I was just... scared.
      Robert: But why?
Kitty: Because I... I was afraid that you wouldn't be there for me.
Robert: Of course I'm here for you.
Kitty: Well... maybe I was afraid of that, too.
      Robert: I... I don't understand.
Kitty: (she breaks into tears) Well... what if you're only here because I have cancer?
Robert: I am here because I love you.

    • Nora: Scotty, what's going on with all this baby stuff? What are you feeling? Why are you so afraid?
Scotty: Oh, I don't know...my mother, the things I grew up hearing. I mean two gay dads...if it's a boy who's gonna teach him to bait a hook?
      Nora: Bait a hook?
      Scotty: Yeah. Toss a football, beat up a bully...I don't know...defend himself.
Nora: You have always been so comfortable with yourself. From the very first time I met you when your hair was all... (imitates the hair)
      (Scotty laughs)
      Scotty: The toucan.
Nora: The toucan. And you had a box of red velvet cupcakes. You seemed perfectly capable of defending yourself. I'm not buying this whole baiting the hook routine.

    • Kevin (about Scotty and Evan): They are so cute together. He's like the baby whisperer.

    • Kevin: All I'm saying is you're great with kids.

Scotty: Well that's because I live with one.
