  • Kitty's birthday

The best episode of the whole series so far. Very much because of the marvellous acting of Sally Field. Her playing an upset and terrified mother was some of the best acting work in tv I've seen lately. I also really liked the ending of the episode with Rebecca recording a video message to Justin. She once again said some very true things about the Walkers- this time about every sibling separately. Julia and Tommy seem to be having problems, wonder if and how that's gonna blow up. Sarah and Joe had sex but now it seems to be Joe who doesn't want to get back together. I actually hope Joe goes, don't like him that much, there's something fishy about him. The only scene I didn't like in this episode was Kitty and Robert kissing on the bed. They had no chemistry and Robert saying:"I'm not getting any, am I?" just sounded so fake.

But I really liked the scenes in the mexican restaurant where everyone was drinking. There's no one funnier than a drunk Kevin:)moreless
  • What a great way to start a new season!

I loved this sneak peak behind the scenes of Brothers & Sisters before season 2 came along. It was good to see what would happen with a tiny bit of whats to come but I'm glad they didn't do too much.

I liked how there was interviews with the cast and directors and not just flashbacks from last season. It was funny to see Kevin's real accent, man I didn't expect that! I kept thinking he was putting it on but he just kept talking like that the whole way through. And I knew Sarah was an Aussie so that wasn't a shock to me!!

I thought it was funny and I'm glad we got to remember what happened in the first season before we watched the second!!moreless
  • What was the point? If people missed season one then they need to read episode summaries on the internet!

Okay seriously. Season two of a great show could have kicked of last night, but instead we were given a completely unnecessary recap episode that showed us nothing that couldn't have been read on In the future, I would recommend that the network not waste the money they paid the editors to put this series of clips together, but instead dive right into the new season. I can barely find the words to convey the range of emotions I experienced last night. First, I went to the list of recorded programs on my DVR and saw a new episode of Brothers and Sisters. I was so excited! I hit play and was quickly immersed in things I had already seen. I thought, wow this is an extended "Previously on Brothers and Sisters" segment, but it will be over soon. I couldn't have been more wrong. My excitement turned into bitter contempt when I realized I had fast forwarded halfway through the episode and we were still flashing back. That's when I picked up the laptop and confirmed my fear--that the season premiere isn't until 9/30. Bad call ABC. Next time don't waste my time or space on my DVR.moreless
