The show's titlecard was displayed in French (Freres & Soeurs) in honor of new cast member Gilles Mirini. A whole French arc was involved.
Based on Sarah's rented car license plate, she's spending time in Gironde (the last number being 33), in the Southwest of France. This area is well known for its winery, the Bordeaux wine being the highlight of it. And Luc's very lovely Citroen 2CV was 69, which is Rhone, in the southeast. Although I don't think that plate would still be legal in France - a nice throw back though, certainly right for the car. A bit of a drive, but not too bad on modern roads.
We find out that Tommy knows about Kitty's cancer because Kitty says he sent her flowers with a nice note.
