ABC released the complete fourth season on DVD in the U.S. (region 1) on August 31, 2010. It was sold in international regions starting in October 2010.
Saul's birth year is given as 1938, making him in his early 70s. That would put his and Nora's mother, Ida, in her 90s probably.
While watching the tennis match, Cooper is digging in Nora's bag. His hat turns around in one reverse shot.
Although he remains credited for the rest of the season, this is Balthazar Getty's (Tommy) last episode until he returns in season five episode 13 'Safe at Home.'
Kitty is the second Walker child. But here, she is depicted as being younger than Tommy, who is the third child.

There's a time inconsistency in this episode. Kevin is off to the fertilty clinic after talking to Robert about raising funds for the next campaign. Then, we see Robert having a press conference to announce he won't be running in November and Kevin is there. The next shot, Kevin is still at the fertility clinic. Finally, when Scotty goes home with the surrogate he says that Kevin had to take off suddenly after Robert called...
This is Sarah Jane Morris' last appearance on the series. She was previously featured in season 3 episode 22 'Julia.'
The poem that Kitty reads at the wedding is the same one that Maura Tierney tries to remember on the ER episode of her wedding with Luka. It is also the one Cameron Diaz reads at her sister's wedding (Toni Collette) in the movie "In her shoes".
And that is a poem by e.e. cummings, titled "I Carry Your Heart With Me".
Goof: Nora says that she is reminded of the time that she had backstage passes for a Beatles concert. However, backstage passes were never available for any Beatles show unless you worked for them, which it can be assumed she did not.
It's revealed that Rebecca is six weeks pregnant, and her approximate due date is July 11, 2010.
Goof: When Luc tells Nora and Justin that he can help Justin with the dancing for the wedding, Luc removes his earphones but in one shot he still has an earphone in his ear and in the next shot he doesn't.
The show's titlecard was displayed in French (Freres & Soeurs) in honor of new cast member Gilles Mirini. A whole French arc was involved.
Based on Sarah's rented car license plate, she's spending time in Gironde (the last number being 33), in the Southwest of France. This area is well known for its winery, the Bordeaux wine being the highlight of it. And Luc's very lovely Citroen 2CV was 69, which is Rhone, in the southeast. Although I don't think that plate would still be legal in France - a nice throw back though, certainly right for the car. A bit of a drive, but not too bad on modern roads.
We find out that Tommy knows about Kitty's cancer because Kitty says he sent her flowers with a nice note.
In this episode Kitty finds out that she has lymphoma which is cancer of the lymph nodes. While Kitty is finding this out about herself, Robert is having a campaign crisis where his opponent tells everyone that Robert actually did have a heart-attack in season 3. When Kitty tries to tell Robert about her cancer, he gets mad that she hasn't called him all day. Finally, Kitty decides to tell Robert that she has cancer. He says he will always be there for her. At the end of the show, Kitty gets her first bone marrow biopsy.
The status of Luke Grimes (Ryan) has been upgraded. He is now credited as a series regular.
