Brothers: Why such a low rating of 4.5?

I thought the show was pretty funny, deffinitely worth more than a 4.5 No????

Up to now the show is totally flat, it has its moments but very few of them. This is no Huxtable family but let's give it some more time.

Yeah the show is indeed flat and near flat line! The show just doesn't have that magic or cast chemistry it needs to be sustained. I just don't know if there's time for this show to get it right given its problems.

The last episode (10/09) showed some improvement although mainly because of the guest stars.

Personally I think the show has shown a slow but steady improvement episodes one thru five. This last episode was actually fairly entertaining. The characters are all played by excellent, professional actors except for Mike and he has shown great improvement. Now anyone who expects this is going to be anything but a basic comedy will be disappointed. Overall the stories are getting better, the relationships are growing, the ensemble is good, and they are giving depth to the characters. All good things. Thanks, Jeffery

Finally one episode which I found really funny (10/23 Meet Mike). Need to repeat that to keep the show on the air.

I think the last four to six episodes showed great improvement and really if you based this show on those episodes I would put it on par with some of the better or decent sitcoms on TV right now. The core casts timing and ensemble acting has improved a great deal and the premise certainly is one that could be sustained for some time.
Unfortunately the early episodes were weak and I think like a number of other shows early this season the scoring was low as some people who didn't even watch the show scored low ratings for it. It's called preconceived notions!

I agree, I think that it has gotten better. I sure would like TPTB to give it a chance.
