Sione finally gets his chance to impress the girl of his dreams at the school ball, but his mother and his rival Rex Ruka do all they can to ruin his chances.

this episode is so funny that I don't know where to start.

Sione want to go to a ball but his mom won't let him & there some pretty funny stuff like Sione's Mom, the farts in the farts in the background music, & the one that makes me laugh the most is The "Thingy" the mom saw at the school meeting & This is one my favorite episodes of bro'Town & I hope this show will never end

beacause this show has humor in it & it from a trusted network called Link TV & hope season 2 come to the US Soonmoreless
  • Even worse than the first episode, which is quite an achievement in itself. Still, it took a lot of effort from me personally to watch it all.

    "Abysmal"
"Painful to watch" is the absolute perfect way to describe how I feel about this episode.

At least I laughed once in the first episode, so it's obvious from what you're read so far that I didn't laugh once during this episode.

I can't really tell WHEN it was trying to be funny, that's how bad it is.

But then, just when you thought it couldn't get worse, they beat us over the head with the incredibly cliched 'lesson' about how parents should talk to their kids about sex. WOAH! Haven't heard that before!

However, I guess I must thank this episode for two reasons. Firstly, it showed me that it is possible to make an episode worse than the first, and secondly because it was so bad it made me stop watching the series completely.

My advice is simple: avoid at all costs.moreless

    • Mrs Tapili: (to Sione, in horror) You got a thingy!

    • Brother Ken: Now, to avoid the baby boom that always follows nine months after the ball, world wide television phenomenon, inadvertant lesbian icon and, it just so happens, my close and personal childhood friend Lucy Lawless, aka Xena Warrior Princess will hold a 'Making Choices' workshop for students and their families the day before the ball.

    • Dad Pepelo: Hey you bugger swines...Where's the pavlova everyones talking about, eh? Valea: There is no pavlova Dad, Sione's mum is DEAD! Dad Pepelo: That's so sad...I love pavlova...

    • Sione sings the soul song "Try A Little Tenderness" at the ball, which has an 80s theme. In the late 80s, there was a popular movie called The Commitments, which featured a group of poor Irish youths who joined a soul band.

    • Mrs Tapili: (catching Sione at the ball) Dead boy walking! This is a reference to the movie Dead Man Walking.

    • Title The episode's title is a nod to the fairy tale Cinderella, in which a girl is mistreated by her stepmother, but ends in the girl marrying Prince Charming after they dance together at the ball.
