  • TRIVIA (0)

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Priss: It's not like Sylvia was your friend or Nene your sister. We just work together. That was all that connected us.
Linna: What do you mean was?

    • Traffic copter: This area is a no parking zone. You are in violation of traffic regulation number 241…
Leon: Stow it, jerk! Can't you see I'm trying to score here?

    • Linna: I'm sorry, Priss. Maybe you can just quit, but I can't. Some things are too important.

    • Leon: I was hoping there'd be a show, but this…
Priss: Most people consider eavesdropping unethical.
Leon: Oh, I hardly had to eavesdrop the way you two were carrying on, princess.

    • Nene: You can't kill yourself and end your problems. People can't do that.
      Macky: People…
Nene: Nigel's right. You're human to me!

    • Nene: Macky's not normal. What is he?
Nigel: What he is is up to you. Do you judge somebody by their body or their heart?

    • In the sewers...
Leon: Somehow, I don't think you came down here for the acoustics, did you?
      Priss: Maybe I did.

    • Leon: Who's there?
Priss: There's nobody down here but us rats. Now turn around and go away.

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • The title of this episode, Minute by Minute, is a reference to a song of the same name sung by The Doobies, and later by Michael McDonald.

    • Mason: "What was it that Sylia Stingray called you? Galatea."
The name Galatea comes up several times in mythology, but the most relevant reference is the story of Pygmalion. Growing to despise the women he knew, Pygmalion fashioned an ivory statue (Galatea) whose beauty surpassed that of any living woman. Pygmalion went on to fall in love with the statue, and prayed that it could be brought to life so he could marry it. The goddess Venus granted his prayer, and so Galatea became Pygmalion's wife. An appropriate name for an artificial life-form, then (also used as the name of a robot in Bicentennial Man).
