      • Priss: (referring to Moto-Slave) How long would it take to rig it up?
Nigel: Thirty minutes, give or take?
Priss: I'll take. Do it, Nigel.

      • Nick: (after lifting Yano up) God, Yano, would it kill you to have a salad?

      • Priss: Screw your goddamned hardsuits! No way in hell!
Linna: Oh yeah, it's not like we're you're friends or sisters, is it?
Later, after Priss agrees to help...
Priss: All right, maybe a step-sister.

      • Quincy: In this tower I am a god, and any man who goes against a god is doomed to eternal damnation.

      • Nick: There's a locker on the ninth floor. It's our emergency stash.
        Yano: I hope you've got a tank.

      • Yano: What happened?
Nick: I'd say they just took over the information center.
Haruma: Oh my god, that poor girl.
Yano: It'll happen to us too. What do we do, Roland?
Nick: Like I said before, we've got to get some bigger guns!

      • Nene: If I can hack into the internal sensor network, that would allow me to shut off the firewall, would it, sir?
Haruma: No, that's impossible. All of the sensors cover each other so you can't deactivate one without reactivating all of the others. There's no way to bring them all down at once.
Nene: Ha! I'm afraid you're wrong, sir. I'm in the sensor net now.
Haruma: What!? That's impossible! All of our programmers said that it couldn't be done.
        (Nick chuckles.)
Nick: Why am I suddenly realizing how Leon and Daley access all that restricted data?
