    • TRIVIA (1)

      • The final scene of this episode is that of a cemetery where Irene is buried. What's unusual about this cemetery is that the shot is of what looks like a typical North American cemetery. Japan, however, doesn't have the sheer amount of space to waste on such a large spacious cemetery. Most of the cemeteries in Japan are very close and small, similar to community plots. The headstones also tend to be tall and, depending on the amount of money spent, can be quite large. The headstones also have places for lighting incense, leaving flowers, and a small area for leaving offerings of food.

Cemeteries in Japan also often have a sort of stone "fence" around family plots to separate the ones next it. Depending on the area, people in Japan visit the family graves up to once every few days (rural areas) whereupon they light incense, may leave flowers, and clean the graves of any weeds, or leaves which may have blown in.

    • QUOTES (8)

      • Mason: They will share a toast with me, to the birth of the Super Boomer. Let us make them welcome.

      • Linna: Irene, it's too much to bear...

      • Irene: I'm going to try to find out what happened to him.
        Linna: Find out?
Irene: Because of the recent boomer crimes, Genom will be a media target since they produce the boomers. I'll try to expose what happened.
Linna: If you go too far, you'll be in danger too.
Irene: Maybe. But I want to make sense out of this! If something does happen to me...have those vigilantes avenge me, okay?
        (Linna gets a surprised look)
        Irene: I'm kidding!
        Linna: That's not funny!

      • Officer(off-screen): Leon! Phone!
Leon: If it's a guy, I'm not here.
Officer: It's a babe. Says her name's 'Priss'.
(cut to a very happy Leon on a video phone with Priss)
Leon: Hey, Priss! I'm touched to get a phone call from you!
Priss: I'll go out with you.
        Leon: Huh! Really? When?
        Priss: Tonight, at 11.
Leon: If you want to meet that late, then let's meet at a hotel. I know just the place.
        Priss: 11 a.m., you jerk!

      • Daley: You shouldn't get so steamed. I'll help you relax tonight. How 'bout it? We could go to a hotel.
Leon: Okay, so we'll go some place where we can be alone, right?
        Daley: A patrol car?
Leon: No, an AD Police armored vehicle!

      • Leon: Case closed? It's pressure from GENOM, isn't it?
Chief: Not at all. Upstairs has decided that it was merely an accident. There was no evidence of boomers being involved.
Leon: What do they know? They haven't been to the scene.
Chief: You've got your hands full keeping a rein on boomer crimes!
Leon: Don't you see, GENOM is trying to develop a monster boomer!
Chief: That's just a wild hunch, right? Nothing's happened yet!
Leon: By the time something happens, it'll be too late!

      • Priss: Who was that?
Leon: Brian J. Mason. A very important GENOM executive. A real shark.

      • Mason: We don't welcome false accusations. We consider our corporate image important.
