The exterior of the Lyran Queen would be repainted and used as the Searcher for season 2
In this episode we meet Tina, a gold colored female AmbuQuad. Unfortunately, other than Twiki, Tina is the only other AmbuQuad we see in the series (we see several robots of Doctor Theopolis' variety in the pilot when Buck is on trial). This is also the only time we see Tina, although she is referred to in two future episodes.
Dorothy Stratten (Miss Cosmos) was actually credited as Dorothy R. Statten.

Dr. Elias Huer: Well, I think that I'll...uh...spindle.
Buck Rogers: Fold.
Dr. Elias Huer: Fold.
In this Play on words, Buck is teaching his friends the game of poker, in which one "folds" when one wishes to drop out of a betting hand. Huer, however, confuses this terminology with the phrase "do not fold, spindle, or mutilate" that used to appear on many bills and other financial and record-keeping documents that came in computer punch-card form in the 1960's and 1970's. A spindle is a spike-like device used to hold papers by skewering them and it would damage the punch-card by piercing an extra hole in it and making it unusable.
